You would think Yao would have figured out how to keep his TOs down after 5 damb games, and T-Mac would have figure out he has to finish aggressively not just start aggressively. You would also think that Dick V. would have figure out how to ref after 30 years of doing it. I hated this game!

Not sweating it...I think the Rox take care of buisness on Saturday and then get steamrolled by either the Warriors or Mavs. BUT...T-Mac will get the monkey off of his back.

Another BS ref'd game. At least half of Yao's turnovers and also a couple on T-Mac were the results of the stupid refs swallowing their whistles on obvious excessive contact/dirty mugging tactics of the Jazz. Does anyone really think Yao or T-Mac would lose the ball out of their hands 13 times a game naturally or solely on good clean defense from the Jazz??? Yao get's the most 3 second calls I have ever seen on a single player. If they are paying such close attention to his time in the paint, they should be able to clearly see the pushing and shoving and reaching that goes at Yao. I'll call it for JVG since he doesn't have another 100grand-- Refs suck-- total CONSPIRACY against Yao!!! The NBA can't have Yao dominating the playoffs.. just yet....

Getting homecourt advantage has proven to be very advantageous in this series so far. The Rockets showed some resilience in the 3rd when it looked like a blowout and kept it close for awhile. To those bashing Yao and say he was a defensive liability, he's no more a liability than say Shaq was. Shaq would just as well have given up the 3 to Okur as well if he were on our team.

Sloan adjusted tonight and got Kirilenko some confidence by running a few easy backdoor layup plays for him. He also had Milsap play Small Forward for a few stretches in the game, and played physical on Battier. This was very evident in the 2nd quarter when Milsap had a breakout quarter. Milsap was stronger and quicker to the boards and the fast break than Battier and abused him a few times while in the paint. In turn I think fatigue set in for Battier and it effected his offensive game.

The Jazz played very physical in the game, and had one big lapse late in the 3rd and early 4th quarter let the Rockets go on a 15-2 run. When the Jazz pulled away, the refs gave some homer calls that would have just as easily gone our way were we in the Toyota Center. Just keep in mind both teams have won at home at every game, and both teams benches stepped up while at home and less so on the road. Don't expect as much of a breakout from Milsap. Don't expect Okur to play the same as he did tonight. Don't expect Kirilenko to be as effective. More than likely expect a big game from Boozer, and more than likely Harpring.

Have a little faith guys. The Rockets lost, but they were within fighting distance to pull this one out in the 4th unlike the other two road games.

Why is it that Baron Davis can still drive to the hoop when he's injured, but McGrady can't even do it when he's supposed to be 100%. Answer: McGrady has no heart, no guts, no brain. He HAS to know by now that good things happen when he goes to the hole.

why are they spineless? i'm as dissapointed as anyone that we didn't close it out tonight, but these are two 50+ win teams battling in a good series. we've both been winning on our homecourt and what do you know we have that advantage saturday.

We've been barely winning at home. That's the scary part. If we don't have all of our shooters on fire, we will be in big trouble.

u've got to be kidding me. do u see davis supporting cast? he's not seeing as much defensive attention as tmac.

sometimes i question people's bball knowledge.

why didn't kobe drive a lot more v. the suns and avg 10+ fts like he did in the reg. season? um, all the defensive attention was on him.

they basically let yao go 1-on-1 and tried to shut down tmac in the past 2 games.

there's only been one game where you could say neither team had a chance to win. tonights game was as close as any game here in houston. the rockets have yet to play a great game yet have won THREE games this series. it'd certainly be nice if our shooters are on fire, but we HAVE to have that to win? bullsh!t. there's too many people looking for reasons to jump off the bandwagon. jump off already. i'll be laughing at y'all in the second round.

exactly, this was utah's best game. they got okur, ak47, boozer, AND deron all shooting over 50%.

we haven't gotten the whole team clicking but that coudl be due to utah's physicality.

but cmon, battier 1-6??? where the hell was he tonight?

tmac PLEASE MAKE SOME JUMPERS. u drove tonight so u kept your word, but my goodness, wassup w/ your jumper?

and yao STILL CANNOT GET DEEP POSITION AGAINST SINGLE COVERAGE. very disappointing with yao. they put milsap on him and he still can't get deep position. i thought htis would be yao's coming out party, but he just looks like a good player.

utah has no fear in yao as the series progresses as they apply less and less pressure. yao basically saw ZERO double teams tonight. and yet still can't dominate like a great player should.

That doesn't matter. Why is it that McGrady was able to penetrate even through double, triple, and even quadruple teams in game 5, but not in game 6? If he really wanted to do it, he would.

The Question I would ask based on my observations of both games 5 and 6 is what happened to Tracy Mc Grady the playmaker. We will never win games without a playmaker. Tracy must get the other players involved. :p
