Shaq is/was a respected INSIDE presence. He would have steamrolled the Jazz frontline.

Yao is a jumpshooting center. I still think he's hurt so I'm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt....

He could have had it if he wanted it baaaddd....

We will know Tmac has grown when the game is close...he comes down with the ball...and instead of chucking it from 3 point land, he keeps attacking the rim.

That will be the day when Tmac has matured.

Right now he just wants the easy way out. The quick and easy way out.

It's a test of endurance Tmac. You need to keep fighting mentally.

Yao's been soft all series long. I actually have no faith in posting him up. In game 7, Yao shouldn't be posted up if Tmac is on the court at the same time. Just let him run PnR's.

Our two "superstars" had 13 turnovers between them. Completely unacceptable.

What pissed me most is that Rockets showed no energy and desire to win, and played really sloppy. Rcokets wanted to be losers and I am not sure how we as fans can help.

We are DAMN LUCKY to have homecourt.

All the games in Houston have been close.

All the games in Utah have been blowouts.

It sucks that we have to do it the hard way but I have every confidence that we will beat them on Saturday. I am really pissed that I have to devote 2.5 hours of my life to it though. I might not watch since I know we're going to win and want to watch DLH-MayW later anyway, and my girlfriend will kill me if I spend 6 hours watching sports in a row.

    Oh yes, game analysis:

    Jazz suck.

I'm actually reminded of Will's observatin that the Jazz were going to foul on every play and dare the officials to make the calls. That's exactly what they did. The officals called them on it late in the third but decided to let them play in the 4th and it forced the Rockets to out-execute Utah - which we didn't. Made a lot of silly plays, including our superstars.

i actually thought the effort was there tonight. rafer played a nice game and the guys played some good defense. i just think utah is a deeper and frankly a better team that is built for the playoffs. yao had a tough game tonight and he's a good kid.....i just dont think he can carry a team on his back in the playoffs.....i think we ask too much of him.....i really thought we had a good thing going with howard in for yao.....my heart hurts because deep down, i think utah will advance....they are too darn deep....ak47is a BEAST....and okur is very underrated....heck.....giricek is a nice player too....the jazz earned this one and are a gritty bunch....i could see them winning it all if they advnce.

I was hoping for a statement to be made by this team tonight, but the only statement made was that we can't come through in a tough environment.

I've got to put most of it on Tracy. On every pick and roll (in the second half anyway), they run the double team at him and he shys away, runs backward, or passes around the perimeter rather than attacking and trying to get around it. The only way the rest of our offense can open up is if he gets around that double team and gets to the lane so he can finish, draw the foul, or dish to the open man outside. You can't do that if you don't even try.

I'm sick of him just picking his spots to try to be great. He can be great all the time if he really wants to.

They played harder, the Rockets defense was pretty bad except for about halfway through the 3rd quarter.......

The Rockets did not pay the price to win this game....they did not pay the price.

Also.....JVG has got to get the starters a bit more rest, they could not get over the hump tonight because they looked tired, and it allowed Utah to pull away.

    Home sweet home....GO ROCKETS !

All the Rockets players should take the responsibility, esp Yao and Battier who did a bad job in this loss. Also tmac did not show the one we love in the last game.
