Damn and I came home too late to watch this game =( Looks like missed shots cost us the game again? 39% FG and 26% 3PT o_o Well that really sucks, I hope (and they probably will) Lakers own the Jazz =D

We're really just missing one more key player to our roster, and maybe some of our current players could improve a little bit more.

I felt so - is dejected the word? - as the Rockets were losing the other night. I wanted so badly for them to win!

I am so proud of our guys though, and of all the injury-adversity that we were able to battle and persevere through. It makes sense, in a way, that things might end this way, but it's still frustrating and a disappointment. :(

We have SO much to be proud of - and I AM A PROUD ROCKETS FAN! Hold your heads high... we fought and battled and came close... who knows what next season might bring?!? :D

Way to go Rockets! :D :)

    BattiersBaby.

especially in the game the last game that counted..

Man, I haven't look at this site because I didn't want to be reminded we lost, but overall, what a f'd up game friday night...I was so stoked about the comeback before half, but damn, everyone dissappeared...

Have to give T-mac credit for coming out and playing, but no one else did..One person can't win the game...

Now, for next year, we should be money, assuming everyone stays healthy...we have a great young team with really good chemistry...we definitely need a shooter to pick up the slack...

Overall, a great season and I can't wait for next year...

scola did come out balling. i was so proud of the dude. only him and tmac scored more than 2 fgs. that stat is reminiscent of the one in game 4 last yr when we had only 4 guys scoring.

but the rest -> garbage (garbage on offense, rebounding, AND defense)

Anyone see an update on Alston? I haven't seen anything on how bad his ankle was. Just tweaked it or was it worse. I think the in game commentators said it was swelling up pretty good.

    Thanks.

Apparently his ankle is so bad that it will cause him to shoot below 40% for the rest of his career.

By that logic if the other ankle gets messed up he'll get to 42%.

he had his best game of the series last year in game 7 (29 pts on 48% sooting, 13 assists and 5 rebs), just like he had his best game of the series in game 6 this season.

Interesting stat on defending Tmac and Kobe:
AK47 had 2.7 fouls pg against Rockets in 32 minutes
6.0 fouls pg against Lakers in 29 minutes.

I guess he changed his style and was fouling a lot more against Kobe.

Boozer is up a lot as well.

Maybe next year the Rockets will be ready with face elbows like Kobe does.

And that is the exact opposite of choking...anti choking as a matter of fact he always performs better in the games that count the most
