Brooks would have gotten abused on defense and on offense, when he played he sucked anyways.

Face it, Rafer is the only NBA-caliber PG we have

Do you mean Jazz's coatch was not professional enough by sending all main players in early third quarter??? He anticipated what Adelman would do and was definitely more "strategic". You can win a critcal battle by textbook's principle!!! You have to react!!! Adelman has been showing just a step slower than he should be.

T-Mac did all he could tonight, he was amazing, but had no help from the role players, except Scola who really played with heart. Tracy should have had more opportunities in the 3rd, only 4 shot attempts, and that's when the game was decided.
Rafer's injury hurt us bigtime. We are really unlucky. And the Jazz had their best game of the series, led by a lights-out Deron Williams.

I'm really proud of this team despite the loss, and we will get our revenge one day. T-Mac you gave it all, every Rockets fan should owe you a lot of respect.

Utah, the Lakers will destroy you

Mcgrady's a lot more relaxed in this post-game than last year.

He knows its not his fault.

T-Mac with a great game. He can't do it by himself though. :(

    Nice season.

    Expectations exceeded.

Just remember back to the day Yao got hurt.

Think about the Western Conference race at that point.

Just think what you expected for the rest of the season from this team, what you hoped for, best case scenario . . .

    ****

This team is at the tipping point. And man, when we're able to stay healthy and be healthy, get ready. That cup will overflow.

To win 55 games the way we did it, I'm more excited than ever about the future.

Man, just think about those days with Cat and Cato, yeah.

Man, with Scola learning and playing for a year, Landry emerging, AB getting some experience, the skies the limits.

If Morey could put this together in one year, I can only imagine what will happen this off-season. Adelman can continue teaching and I'm looking forward to it.

Be proud H-town, this is a team you can stand on your feet and be proud for. This team had heart, played hard, and left it on the floor. I couldn't ask for anything more, playoff loss or not. Loved the chemistry, loved the way they get along, my favorite team since the '05 team with Sura at point.

I don't really see or can justify why you'd want to change this core. Look at Dallas and Phoenix. T-Mac and Yao are still young, they're reaching their primes and the pieces around them are filling in nicely. In due time, in due time.

Proud to be a Rockets fan. Proud of this '07-'08 team.

    H-town 4 Life.

Seeing how Brooks, Head, Jackson played in the 3rd, I was praying for Tracy to just take over all point guard duties and we go:

    Tmac
    Shane
    Novak
    Scola
    Deke

Ohhh well, here hoping for a healthy franchise in 08-09.

Bobby Jackson was not in the game because Rick wanted to show case him.

Bobby jackson was in there because the next option was

    a) A rookie
    b) Luther head, who has yet to play even at the level of a rookie.

If you can take one good thing away from the series it's that the Rockets have zero fear of the Jazz and one of the great homecourts in the NBA. Getting beaten by the same team consecutive years can wear on a team, make them think that team has their number, but if they face them again next year there's no doubt these guys will have the confidence to beat them couple times in that building if need be. This series would not be over if the Rox hadn't been decimated by injuries (I'm not even talking about Yao)- and if it were over it would have gone in the Rockets favor. The Rockets know that. Screw those Jazz floppers!

I don't have NBA TV, but on my direct t.v. I turned to channel 104 which shows all the sports channel so I put the bar on NBA TV and heard him talking.

T-mac basically said that this team overcame a lot of obstacles with him and Yao being injury, Landry,Brooks, and Scola being rookies, and a 41 year old Center with Deke. He said that was amazing.

As far as the game goes he said the Jazz were one hell of a team. He said the team fought hard to cut the lead, but Deron Williams got hot and hit some timely shots.

Losing Rafer right before the half was the back breaker. Kind of summed up the season - valiant effort but in the end the team simply fell apart physically.

Sucks that they lost but I'm far too proud of the team to be too broken about it. The team is all guts. A bunch of cripples and rookies pushed the Jazz to six games. If they can just find that mythical third scorer they'll be ready to go.

I can't wait to see the Jazz try that "hard-nosed, physical play" with Kobe and Gasol. I have this vision of the half of the Utah roster fouling out by half-time :)
