I believe...to the extent that I have purchased pre sale tickets to Game 7.

Well actually game 4 was suppose to be a blow out, and we were losing by 17 at one point, so that was the one blowout they had already....

Every game thread needs the Yao Ming robot dance for goodluck.....someone needs to post this.

 

Greg Anthony just picked up to win this game on ESPN and said if we win this one, we will win the series.

 

everybody wants to sound really smart b/c if we do win, they'll look like the smartest guys in the world. let's be real, 26/27 ESPN picked us to lose the series when this started.

as for this game, the first 5 mins of the 1st quarter and 3rd quarter will decide the game. utah will come out with guns blazing to start this game. if we can weather the storm and stay within 5, we're good to go. if not, it's over. we cannot afford to be behind by double digits like we did in game 4. we MUST have a lead going into the 4th for us to have a good chance of winning this game.

utah is not going to score 69 pts at home. i'll guarantee that. so hopefully, our offense can be much better and we'll break 100 pts tomorrow. the only way we can keep pressure on the jazz and hopefully cause them to panic is if we score. our defense will be good enough. if we can score consistently, we have a good chance.

but i just want to end with saying i'm proud of this team. no matter what happens, they have made all houston rocket fans proud. i'm really excited for the future with scola and landry manning the PF position. this experience will only make our role players better (well, not for luther head though)

Keys to game 6:

1. Stay humble and hungry - Rox need to play like its game 7; win or go home. No overconfidence - just quiet confidence and determination. Patience on offense, and a smothering defence. Ignore the officials, let the Jazz do the whining.

2. Weather the storm in 1Q. Jazz will be playing with a ton of emotion from the opening tip. Crowd will be crazy. The first 5 minutes playing at a higher altitude, until the guys can get their second wind will be absolutely crucial. Take the crowd out of the game is important!

3. Rebound, rebound, rebound! Denying second chances and fast breaks by the Jazz is critical. Box out and body up. There will probably be a ton of rebound opportunities due to Utah's missed shots because they will be playing with desparation to get an early lead.

i might stay away if it comes to that.

 

Series IS going back to houston. Carl Landry with another amazing block on Deron Williams in the last minute of the game. T-Mac will finish the game with a triple double and extend the rockets' season. Final score Rockets 90-89 Jazz.

in the 2 wins of this series, we are either tied (44-44 in game 3) or ahead (as in game 5)

in the 3 losses, we were losing at halftime.

Were going to a Game 7. Book it!

 

Of course we have been up and down in this series but it is pretty obvious the series has been very close.

Teams are fighting and sometimes we can't make shots or refs help Utah.

But Game 5, it was win or go home game and we won by 20 after that close series...that is unbelivable and that gives us HUGE confidence. We did show we can easily beat them and we can score.

Our offense looked great after slow start. But we even score 31 in third so guys are able to knock down shots.

This game is in Utah and we can't think it will be as easy as game 5. We are still very close but we can't lose it. It is gonna be very difficult, they are gonna fight all night long but we are also gonna be fighting.

I just hope we can make shots, we can play well offensivly and we can defend as great as we have done in the whole series. Also we will need big game from T-Mac.
