I'm not expecting it, but I have a sinking feeling the Rockets' crap play will continue for the rest of this series.

I would absolutely love it if the Rockets were to make me eat crow by taking Games five and six in commanding fashion. However, I'm not expecting that, either.

I'm at the pessimistic-but-hopeful stage, with a side order of '05 Playoffs flashbacks... not a good combination.

 

If game three didn't get them fired up, they can't be fired up. You can only be fired up if you have fire. Who on the Rockets has fire? Bob Sura, but he is not playing. You can't cook in the playoffs without fire. No fire, no advance.

maybe try creating dunk opportunities for hayes and perhaps have him post up.

 

It's all about heart at this point. It wasn't there tonight for us and Utah had it.

Game 5 is going to be make or break for this season, and possibly Van Gundy's career in Houston. It might also give us a good idea of how far we actually can get with Mcgrady...he knows how big this series is for his career, yet look at what he's done the last two games.

One other thing, since Lucas obviously cannot handle any minutes at the backup point, Head is struggling, and Deron is killing us ... why not try this lineup sometime:

Tracy
Snyder
Battier
Hayes
Yao

Not to mention that Snyder can get to the basket as good as anyone on the team other than Mcgrady.

 

T-Mac has got to be traded this offseason along with JVG, these guys just can't get it done, Yao needs a better supporting cast.

Funny thing is nobody will want this slow and max money making T-Mac.

JVG needs to stick his head out of his ass and figure out some offensive
plays to free TMAC and get easier shots. I would like to see TMAC post up closer to the rim and get their guards in foul trouble. And wheres the PNR with Yao?

two teams are playing in this series and Utah is actually pretty good and damn good at home, were people really expecting them to roll over and get swept.......

they run some offense that attacks a weakness in the rockets D, pnr especially involving Rafer and Yao... plus Deron Williams is an elite PG, which already was before this series......

the rockets certainly need to come out with more energy and intensity in game 5, its now a 3 game series.....and they just have to knock more shots down
