ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Jazz 4/28/2007 (Playoffs Round 1, Game 4)

I think everyone gets T-Mac's not what he was back in 2005. The sad thing is that teams can now stop this guy, the guy I new could take over games, this guy just doesn't have the physical ability anymore. Watching Kobe play against Phoenix made me realize how much 'back' T-Mac has fallen out of the superstar category.

Utah has gained a lot of confidence with this game, a lot of guys who were struggling all series long seem to have got their touch back, this series in my opinion is over. But I hope I'm wrong.

 

Head is usless so far, please play someone else, JVG. I know you are not going to play Vspin, but he could be better than Head. What will JVG say in the post-game meeting?

 

T-Mac needs to make a recording of his 'inspiring speech', plug it into his iPod,and listen to it for the next goddamned week.

 

All the people who are posting stupid $hit tonight should be banned from posting after the Rockets win the next game. Being upset is one thing but posting crap like the series is over and the Rockets cant beat Utah is so r****ded.

True fans stick with their team until the end and don't quit until its really over unlike some of the bandwagon loosers here.

 

I am not affraid about our lose, but I hate losing like this 2 games

 

I can support a less talented team giving 100% diving for loose balls, bumping a damn cutter, boxing out you know showing a little passion for the game. The Rockets are playing like somebody owes them something man nobody owes yall **** and they're folding like a lawn chair because its not easy. Yao can get mad all he wants to with his weak ass fadeaways because hes never gonna get any calls shooting jumpers and he also wont get any calls putting the ball on the floor for no good damn reason. He has to do his work early to get lower position on the block for any chance to make a foul callable move.

Im not even gonna start with T-Mac "its on him" ****ing laughable. You wanna do something besides palming the ball before making your one dribble step back 22 foot jumper? Agreed Van Gundy could try to get him the ball in a better position on the floor to be successful, but that takes other people making shots and thats obviously not gonna happen

The only positive thing I saw tonight was rafers' jab step mid-range jumper in the first quarter.

Who cares? 20 millions on the pocket and who care to win a single playoff series.

 

f**king JVG is badly outcoached, Why this idiot never tried VSpan,( he's clearly better than Lucas III), and let T-Mac and Alston throw a ton of bricks.

 

I went to the Utah boards during the first 2 games and swa that their fans actually gained confidence after those losses. We were NOT impressive in those games and they knew that they were in good shape coming home.

 

Agree 100%. JVG sucks.
today he really sucks and totally over coached by f king sloan.

A heartless, gutless, leadershipless performance. Shameful, Shameful, Shameful. If the Rockets had any heart they would have come out fighting tonight. They are a very, very, very SOFT team. Somehow I really knew this all season, but, it is now clearly indisputable. I am embarassed for them. If they continue to de-elevate their game, they will very likely get booed in the TC to end the season. Do you believe in miracle turnarounds, because it is going to take one now. Losing is one thing, but to be utterly humiliated is another. TMac and Rafer both had 30% shooting performances, pretty familiar, really sad.

 

what a terrible game.

1. can anyone on our team shoot? seriously?!
2. so many poked/deflected passes that we got but the ball always ended up in a jazz players hand.
3. t mac was pathetic. no energy at all. (this is my first time to dawg t mac)

i hope we can turn things around. this is just getting too ugly.
