ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Jazz 4/28/2007 (Playoffs Round 1, Game 4)

alright... i decided to do some research. According to NBA.com play by play, T-mac has ZERO dunks this whole series. He's averaged 39 minutes so far in 3 games and has ZERO freaking dunks! Damnit t-mac aren't you suppose to raise your game for the playoffs?

I have come to the conclusion that the Rockets will be lucky, fortunate, blessed by God, if they survive the Jazz to go to the 2nd round, giving TMAC 2nd round exposure. We will be lucky to get to the 7th game and have the chance to win the series at home.

Alston is simple terrible. Can't shoot wide open, can read the label, get a drink, 3 pts. That was sad. He can't guard the other PG, can't make a layup (give him props for following his own miss). And can't pass. That just about covers it. Then his back-up righ now (Head) is worse, really can't hit the 3 and worst in everything else. Something has gotten in his head. His is our AK47 but worst. Howard is not making anything either. The good news in Deke is the score off the bench, OOOOKKKK.

No one else off the bench will help. I don't think JVG will ever let Lucas or VSpan play, unless Alston gets hurt.

And I think JVG will not be the coach if the Rockets get kicked in the 1st round: even if the owner offers to resign him. He should be ashame of himself for not preparing a superior team for the playoffs. It's not the end yet but if the Rockets lost the series, Les simple should go another direction. Give a up and coming coach a chance. That #1 defense mentality has made the Rockets a lousy offensive unit. And they are not playing great defense now anyways.

 

It is the time to show if they have the heart and determination, at least I did not see any in first half, Yao was fine but Tmac played like he did not really want this game even he he had small run lately.

Let's go Rockets, we can do it. They are scared too, and even more than us.

LMAO, I can't believe some of you guys are still trying to excuse TMac for the last play, you thought Kobe would walk off the court like nothing with 5 sec left? I'm sure he will at least try to get a shot off with less than 3 dispite the double team. That's a primary example of the difference between Kobe and TMac
