all season, t-mac has had an aversion to taking end-of-quarter half court heaves. (thinking about his shooting percentage? maybe doesn't want to mess up his rhythm?) i thought it was somewhat acceptable in the regular season. usually, he'd dribble to halfcourt as the clock wound down, then time the shot so that it was released juuuuust after the buzzer so it wouldn't count against his stats.

but now?? with 5 seconds left? was he thining of his stats? someone remind him we're in the playoffs.

Man what the hell is wrong with the Rockets? They've been getting out hustled by the Spazz for 4 games now.

I don't care about the refs as much now, it's nothing new. As long as Yao is breathing and he is in a Rockets uni, the refs will never ever be in our side so the team has to live with it.

The Spazz just seem like they want it more. Haven't seen much effort from Tmac in this series. At least not what we all had in mind with all the hype he's been putting on himself.

I would love for us to shoot in the low 40's, but in case you havent noticed, we are shooting in the 30's EVERY SINGLE GAME

5 in half? it is way better than 0 in the whole game already.

well he took about 3 seconds to even get to halfcourt, then just kinda chilled like nothing important was happening. just run and split the double, they would most likely have to foul you to keep you from doing it. do something besides doing nothing.

I don't care that Tracy had a double-team waiting on him at half court. There's 5 seconds left (about 3 when he saw the double) so why not dribble up and try to get past it? You might get a foul and shoot 2, and if you turn it over there's not enough time for the Jazz to get off anything more than a half court heave anyway.

It was pretty much a heartless play from what I saw. How disappointing.

The thing I can not understand about rafer's PnR defense is that he always goes under the pick.WTF?????? Everytime, deron williams made a wide open jumpshot. Rafer you'd better fight through the pick in the 2nd half.

Everyone can b**** all they want but after watching these first two quarters and being pretty quite on the board through the playoffs I have to say our problem is coaching. In the last 3 minutes of the 2nd quarter JVG started posting T-Mac and we started to flow. Why in the hell did he wait to do this ? If we play our stupid ****ing slow the game down to turtle speed offense in the 2nd half we are doomed !!!!! JVG Utah has your offense figured out ....CHANGE IT !!!!

Don't worry, once T-Mac plays for Rox, Rox will never get out off first round, otherwise, T-Mac will get out of first round.

I'd much rather see Luther in the game with T-Mac doing most of the ball handling

Are we watching the same game here? Because there's absolutely NOTHING worthwhile to cheer for or about. They are playing uninspiring basketball and that's that. The frustration stems from the knowledge and belief that the Rockets should be in the driver's seat before the game started and it looks like the whole team is collectively folding. They are a MUCH better team than this and they are not playing up to the level that they should be playing at. THIS IS THE PLAYOFFS. You bring your A game.

Reality is... we are soft...and anything going beyond of 2nd round would be a dream this year. We are not as good as the first tier teams. And the difference is huge. You have to be blind not to see the obvious.

he said scoring, not scoring a lot. and tmac/jvg damn well better rememeber to get tmac in the post in the 2nd half. no more come off a pick, get doubled 30 feet from the basket, get around the double, pull up from 22 feet crap.

Not a great game again. We are down by 5...to many points. We really have to play better 'D'. They've scored too many points in the paint. But you know I'll say it again: referees suck! Every time when we rebounded the ball there was a loose ball foul and Jazz ball. But they did not call many fouls on Utah...Come on! Hopefully we wil have great 2nd half and we WIN. GO GO ROCKETS!!!
