The Rockets basically missed too much is what it comes down to

Need players who can hit

We're at a disadvantage before the game even starts, so calm down. We should play with no pressure at all, we have nothing to lose here. No one expects us to win in Utah of all places, already done it once and one more time would just be icing on the cake for me.

I am already a happy camper...

 

Is it too much to ask for a clean officiated game, seriously.

 

i'M WATCHING ESPNHD but on pregame, bill worrell and clyde were talking big game about the vet officiating crew...........give me a freaking break

rockets are holding Boozer and Williams - combined 3-13 shooting - and still trail by 8.

what the hell is the problem offensively out there?

we are in trouble in the 2nd half because those guys are gonna do a whole lot better than shoot 3-13.

 

We're doing a decent job of weathering the storm. Hopefully this halftime break can calm them down and we could come out and establish some rhythm and keep them silent permanently.

 

The good thing about vets like Jackson and Battier is that they can shake off a poor shooting performance and get hot. Hell, even Alston has been known to stink it up for three quarters and then hit a few big 4th quarter buckets. Let's see what happens with these bastards in Utah.

We are playing three rookies. Give them a lil time. I see Scola develops into a consistent 3rd scorer for this team next season. And Landry and Brooks will provide good offense off the bench.

 

that's what i'm saying. we need more shooters/scorers for next yr even when yao returns. these guys are just very inconsistent.

it's literally a one-man show offensively out there.

 

Usually it's BJax off the bench, who's really the only other 'scorer' on the team. Unfortunately, he's been shooting, just not hitting...

as expected, rafer back to inconsistent 3 point shooting. Been the story all season with him, one game he's hitting then gets arrogant or something then starts missing the next game

 

I agree ! I always ask myself how this team won 55 games ! The good thing is that my answer is good coaching so we have that with some young talent ! I believe if we could get an Arenas or a Josh Smith and have a legit 3rd scorer RA would make this Rockets team Champions ! We just don't have an Offensive Threat team ! This Rockets team wins with defense !

 

Our shooting is so bad.

The rockets need more true shooters. Where is Morey? He didn't accept any interview recently. In my mind, he is a guy who likes to show in media.

 

Eh, same old same old. Deeper bench, "offensive" coach...granted we are missing the best offensive center in the league right now, but still, it's still the same old thing. The Rockets are once against showing how bad it is to be a sub-par offensive team in the regular season and most importantly in these playoffs :/

 

Deron is pounding the basket and hes not getting much of those either, yes the ref crew isnt the best but i dont think its not that bad.
