JVG needs to develop young players. We are wasting our drafts. Now if we had a nachbar, things will be different.

Clearly you were not around in the two championship years when our teams were historically down in the playoff series!!!

Could you post you comments in the other two dozen dumb ass thread that got started between now and the end of game 3???

Nope. it ust shows that our coach is clueless (remember Ryan Bowen, and how long it took JVG to get a clue).

I can GUARANTEE you one thing: if Bonzi and SNyder had been a regular part of our rotation starting from beginning of the season, our bench wouldnt have zero points tonight.

JVG, maybe you should try sleeping in your doghouse tonight

It all depends on the Refs

    If called, that's free throws

if no call, that's TOs

So Yao got 16 FTs and 8 TOs

JVG Sucks on coaching offense especially for those role palyers.

I wish we can fast forward to Game 3 now. It's killing me after such
a bad lost, and we have to wait 2 more days before we get a chance
    to heal the wound. :(

Actually I didn't really expect us to win game 3, but still feel like crap
afterward. The whole team didn't play well.

Not that either one of us is gonna go back and watch that piece of s*** game, but I still say Kirilenko didn't do anything. He went to the bench early with 4 fouls...but you're right T-Mac was definitely not on point tonight.

I stand by my earlier statement that Kirilenko is a sorry b****. :D

Actually you are right I did just look at the stat's and did not get to see the game....

    Yao: 43 FG% on 14 shots.
Tmac: 39% on 23 shots. (Obviously this hurts you more)

I did call out Yao on his TO's, that's the only major negative I saw, 14-16 FT's, for 26 points and 14 Rebs, HE GOT HIS #'s.

T-Mac took more shots, had a lower shooting % and went to the line fewer times, 3 Assists and 4 Rebs, I know he brings more to the game than the #'s, but the guy's got to improve his FG % and go to the line more, we need that from him.

Every scrub has his day, more often than not the guy is worthless, yes I like how he rebounds and hustles as much as the next guy, BUT for the PF you can't have a guy with his size/shooting ability/ inconsistency …in my humble opinion his negatives out weigh the positives.

I'm just frustrated, I honestly thought this team had it in them, but the games I've seen so far (the first two) I'm not impressed at all…especially of T-Mac. I guess I really thought he was going to take his game to another level...

How can the scrubs score when 90% of the time the ball is in their leader's hands. I don't blame them. They haven't been involved and I think they are probably feeling left out, on the outside looking in brick fest.

With our ugly offensive, eventually we still in the play until 4th Q..its crazy to think the loss..hopefully its only hunt me for couple hours

with stubbern Jeff, the best we can go I see is luckly to pass this first round playoff but no way to go further. why? He lacks to adjust and coach the O.

And these all because he do not trust his bench players. when some players have a bad night, he do not dare to make changes and use differ players to different O.

Tonight, if he has plan for vspan's drive attack the rim, I think it will help. If he build Novak's confidence in regular season, he can use him now and he maybe can shoot some big 3s.

He has no plan when today's situation happened. why? cuz he do not know how to use these players and all these make our O sucks.

What an ugly game, even worst than the previous two and that's saying something!
What has happened to our team? Just look at these numbers for three games.....
    Alston... 8for25 32%
    McGrady 29for69 37%
    Hayes.... 7for10 70%
    Battier... 11for24 45%
    Yao Ming 23for56 41%
    Head..... 2for17 12%
    Howard.. 2for13 15%
    Mutombo 0for0 0%
    Snyder.. 1for2 50%

Last time I checked, we're up 2-1. Anybody who expected us to sweep them is clueless. There's a reason why our players were complimenting the Jazz even after the 2 wins.

My prediction is going as planned. Rockets win the 1st 2 at home. Utah wins Game 3 because they know they can't go down 3-0. Rockets will win Game 4, so they'll split on the road. Then, they'll take care of business at home in Game 5.

    Rockets in 5.

i was thorougly pissed throughout the entire game.

every1 is right when they say all our offence is is 2 ppl. I hate that. Luther is just plain struggling on both sides of the court. Juwan missed 2 WIDE OPEN 15 ft jumpers, Rafer did surprise me by hitting one or two threes when at the time he shot it, I was like "OMG WTF ARE YOU DOING??? ... Oh ... Cool." Both of our stars have had miserable percentages btw. Tmac started off well though. Shane is off and on. Can't really get mad at him. But ya ... our bench sux.

If only we had a dude who averaged 26/12 in last year's playoffs ... maybe we'd have a lil more toughness and at least ONE BUCKET off the bench. Maybe.

Don't want this series to be tied comin back home.

As for why we lost Game 3, look at one thing and one thing only... TURNOVERS. The bad shooting is no excuse obviously, but how come we were able to win the first 2 games despite shooting poorly? The answer is turnovers. We took care of the ball better in the 1st 2 games.

The Jazz took NINETEEN more shots than we did... that's right 19! That's a result of turnovers. 1 turnover means 1 less shot for us and most likely 1 more shot for them. Imagine the effect of 19 turnovers. They also had 6 more offensive rebounds than us.

As for the shooting, T-Mac started hot, going 5-6. He went on to go 4-17 after that. He and Yao have got to get closer to the basket to increase their efficiency... especially Yao, the guy who is so dominant in the paint.

T-Mac also only had 3 assists. Don't we have some ridiculous winning % when T-Mac gets at least 7 assists or something like that?

Whether you like it or not, Rafer is our 3rd leading scorer. He's got to take more than 5 shots (hopefully more threes than anything). Luther Head's shot has got to show up sooner or later. Snyder sucks. He doesn't deserve more minutes.

The JVG defense was once again spectacular except for a few layups/dunks. If it weren't for the pathetic offensive performance, I would be LOL-ing at how our defense has destroyed their efficient offense. It's like pouring salt on a slug... or something like that.
