I'm watching the Bulls and Nets game, and the announcers started talking about how great of a team the Rockets are with Tmac and Yao playing at their best at the same time for the first time. It's like now everyone else is starting to catch on how good of a team the Rockets really are.
It's really hard for anyone--even Rockets fans--to gauge how good the team is when McGrady and Yao has been out at different parts of the season. Now that we have both of them healthy *knock on wood*, we're rolling which means we're winning and that means a lot more people around the country are taking notice. I think every time someone says they prefer the Rockets be a "darkhorse" or "sleepers" or be "under the radar", I think that's improbable considering we have the best center in the NBA and have one of the best scorers in the NBA on the roster. The Rockets are playing up to what they're capable of and we should all be proud that they don't have to be "darkhorses" but rather actual contenders.
Matt Bullard was injured in a skiing accident on Wednesday morning in Sandy, Utah. No details of the accident are available. Bullard, who suffered a concussion, was kept overnight in at a hospital in Sandy. A CT scan was performed and he will stay overnight for observation. Former Rockets and Jazz head coach Tom Nissalke will do the color commentating duties along with Bill Worrell for tonight's game. Let's hope Bull is ok! http://blogs.chron.com/franblinebury/2007/04/all_that_jazz_is_nothing_but_n.html
lets hope rafer has a good game. he's only playing tonight to work on playing against the jazz. if he can defend the P&R and work the offense we're in great shape!!
damn... hope he's OK... On the other hand, the moral of this story is: Big and barely coordinated jump shooting stiffs should stay away from snow sports. See also Radmanovich, Vladimir.
god i love it, our "starters" are doing so well, lets bring in the deep part of the bench. V-span and Novak has anyone seen Utah run a pick and roll?
i think this is bad for utah, they dont show their usual game of p[ick and roll so they get out of rythym, and our bench torches them early.
