If the Rockets have any sense, they will leave TMac and Yao in Houston and start Novak, VSpan, Jake, Synder, and JIII. They should give Rafer, Head, and Howard limited minutes. Build the confidence of the subs and protect the stars, keeping them fresh for the first game of the playoffs.

If TMac or Yao are injured in Utah in a meaningless game, an inexcusable mistake will have been made. Don't make it!

Tmac and Yao play no more than 15 minutes in total and Rockets lose. Doesn't matter.

Rockets win the playoff opening and finish the 1st round playoff with another win.

I just read the latest Chron article featured on rockets.com, and there seems to be a distinct possibility that the starters will get significant playing time. Then there's Jerry Sloan saying that a team shouldn't hold its players, even if it's in preparation for the playoffs, because it would be cheating the fans. Yeah right, he just doesn't want Mac and Yao to be fresh for the playoffs! Haha! That's what I think, anyway. I'm probably wrong, it's probably the anti-Jazz feeling stirring up inside already. Man, I'm pumped for the playoffs! Woohoo!

I agree with not playing them, but bring them along. Give the entire team a feel for the city, for the atmosphere. It won't hurt to get used to it slightly, to feed off of the hate and make it ugly for them (which T-Mac is known to love to do).

Maybe one of our scrubs (Vspan, Novak, or Jake) plays the best game of his life and impresses the team/coach so much that he becomes part of the regular rotation, thus making our bench deeper.

    *wishful thinking*

I want the reserves to play.......

If the Rockets regulars play and the team wins they may get over confident....and the one thing this team does NOT handle well is success.

So....sit the regulars, play the bench....and keep the eye on the big prize.....

WHT, we should play benches of benches, I am afraid that nuthead JVG might play our starters for whole game, and that is very unacceptable. let our benches disgrace Jazz, kick their asses, put them in depression that is so much for them that they cant even face Rox in the playoff!!!!!!!!!
