Heh. I wanted him to get rest over the summer as well, but this wasn't what I had in mind. Let's hope tis not as 'severe' as it sounds at first glance.

Yao broke his foot? How long will it take to recover? Does that mean he won't be able to prepare for the World Champion for CNT? That sucks. :(

Well, Yao is a warrior and is truly a pro. I hope that's enough to satisfy those "999 to 1" fans who want to see professionalism.

I really felt like there was no reason for Yao to play in the first place but I guess you cant just sit the guy if he isnt hurt. Well....now he is hurt and it made me cringe.

It is ok if it is only out for this year. I wonder if this will effct his plays next year, then Rox will be in trouble.

Apparently Yao broke the bone when he stepped on Derron William's foot in the first quarter. This according to Bill & Matt.

With Yao out we're gonna finish with a record of 33-49.

I like this scheme. Nice quick thinking by Yao, Gundy, and Keith Jones. Yao has a broken foot, wink wink. He will need to rest it and get treatment here in Houston during the summer, wink wink. No tournaments or practices for him all summer because this broken foot is a serious deal, wink wink, honk honk.

I wondered how one, in basketball shoes, can break it's bone near little toe while stepping on someone's foot...

Hopefully it's just some kinda excuse to rest Yao's sprained ankle and to tank the remaining games.
