I REALLY HOPE WE END KIRELENKO'S CAREER. END HIS CAREER!!! SEND HIM HOME TO HIS HOT WIFE!!!!! KORVER NEEDS TO GO BACK TO MTV AND HOST PUNK'D!!!!!!! WE NEED TO BREAK BREWERS ARM AGAIN!!!!!!!!!
It is a back to back and we are playing in their house. I think the realistic chance of winning would be about 40%. Still though, I will get my BBQ ribs ready and can't wait for tonite! UTAH sucks!
I respect and appreciate the very healthy hate you guys have for the Jazz, and while I share it, I just can't bring myself to despise Williams/Boozer like I did Stockton/Malone. They just aren't first-rate a-holes like those guys were. I mean AK, Okur, and Harpring are VERY easy to dislike, but I don't think it compares to when your two stars, the faces of your franchise are the dirtiest players in the league, and among its best floppers.
Of course as we all know all too well, tonight will be a typical game in Utah...we will be facing 8 opponents at ALL times, the Jazz will get away with rape and murder, Yao will be removed from the game, the chinless Eurpoean mutant will drain 3's, Williams will push off, Harpring will commit assault, Kirilenko and crew will flop at every oppurtunity, the fans will scream obscenities at our players, and they will get away with it all! Now, if we can overcome all of this and still win, thats VERY impressive.
The hate for the Jazz is righteous and I cannot believe the Rockets tried to get Boozer this year !!! I would definetly not root for a guy like that on the Rockets, no way, no how. I hope the Rockets show how they've changed since last year's playoffs because we took the beating like some punks, Artest can change that hopefully. I do not mind if Artest goes crazy at all, matter of fact I hope he does !! Show how to respond to the dirtiest, most feminine, p***y ass flopping team by pounding on them is the way to do it. I cannot believe any man would just roll over to a bunch of punks like the Jazz. Truth is, the team is full of p*****s (Kirileinko, Kyle, 'Kur, Karlos etc.) and yet everybody is scared of them. Just hit em with elbows, whatever, it doesn't matter. Just get the job done please Ron and show people how to be a man. Everybody played like they were scared last year in Salt Lake City in particular except for Rafer and an occasional Landry / Battier. However, we didn't have Yao, Wafer, Barry or Artest so I expect them to compete better than last year. In the end, it doesn't matter what I would like the Rockets to do to the Jazz, the Jazz have the refs on their side, they've had 3 days to prepare and we're on a back-to-back. We lose 107-91
Rockets know why they lost to the j*zz last year and should feel that they have to make a point. Rest will not come into play. Home court will not decide it. Them on a streak won't matter. I see our guys coming out with a chip and going 3-0 against these busted condoms tonight. Ron already didn't like them before he joined us. You better believe he'll be fired up. Rox 98 - j*zz 90 Mark it.
Gotta snap Utah's 8-game winning streak. Artest, you better shout a warcry before this game and make sure it's loud enough for people to stfu through the entire duration of the game. I expect a win. Depressed loser-of-a-team Utah Jazz finally understand where they belong, below the rockets... below the waist. NO LAYUPS.
Although I agree with almost everything you said, I think the Rockets have more in them than most people think. Tonight will be a great example to the rest of the league and more importantly, to the Rockets themselves that they are a legitimate contender. I believe one of two things will happen...we will be in the game until the final minutes and simply fall just short, or we will win by 5 points or less. I don't see a blowout tonight on either side. My prediction: Houston 99, Utah 96
have you seem Yao in Cavs' game? history will repeats itself tonite. Yao said "I will see you at your home court and breaks all ya legs in front of your fans."
Hate to be a downer because I realize as well as anyone else how much we need this game. At home, I think Houston could take it. But in Utah, on the second night of a back-to-back, I'm unfortunately going to have to say Utah wins 99-93. My prediction could certainly be proved wrong. In particular, if Landry plays as good of basketball as he did last night, Houston can win. Artest is also a key. And dear god, the thought of a seven-game series involving Artest and Harpring is frightening on a 'nuclear holocaust' level. Anyways, I think we know what we're getting from Yao and Scola, and I think we know what we're getting from Okur, Boozer, and Williams. It's just a matter of whether Landry can make a pass at keeping up with Boozer, and whether Artest can dominate the rest of the j*zz crew.
YESSSS!!!! I LOVE READING THIS STUFF! :-D You know what would be better than winning the lottery? Having the Jazz team plane and Mavs team plane collide in mid-air. Talk about a double stroke of luck.
Scola will have to have a big night as well as Landry. Wafer will need to shoot at least 50% for us, Yao has to be a lethal threat and score at least 20. Ron could be off and we can still win this.. but only if the above things happen. We will also need 10 pts from either Battier/Barry. AB has to dish well as Lowry, their pts can vary. Most importantly though, we have to be solid offensively, it's hard to defend the Jazz at their place. They can just hurt you in so many ways so it's hard to take away anything defensively.
this game will tell a lot about this team. the jazz are always a bad matchup for us, but we have a new weapon... VON WAFER i have a feeling he's gonna go off tonight. the jazz don't guard the perimeter and von wafer can shoot it with the best of them. lowry is also gonna stop deron.
