Please stop blaming the refs, I know it is trendy and all, but bad calls are made on both sides, some games will be for you, some will be against you. They don't have an agenda against the Rockets, I don't think we are that important for there to be a conspiracy theory You don't lose a game agains the Utahs of the league because of bad refreeing, you lose it because of stupid playing.
Yao fans don't make a fuss about his playing time, come playoff time he shouldn't be as beat down as he was last season, blessing in disguise for everyone.
Agreed. Aside from a few obviously bad calls, I'd say the reffing has been quite tame tonight, pretty well balanced. Or maybe it's because the officiating isn't having any effect on the gane's outcome. In any case, I'd say the reffing was worse yesterday, when the refs weren't callin anything in the paint for 3 quarters, then decided to wake up and start callin cheap crap, against us no less.
he certainly wont score if he is on the bench. if jvg was our coach from the time yao joined rockets, i think yao would certainly not have started, and most likely, I think yao would already become a 'bust' and get traded. I am concerned about jvg's incapability of developing talents. bunch of verts are nice, but you wont get the job done without your young and upcoming stars.
Simple: we are playing better AND making a run now without him. But this really shouldn't surprise you, it has happened too many times before for me to remember. When the team is lethargic, inaggressive, and playing like women, JVG puts in Deke or Bowen (or both) to change that lethargic attitude. Mike James is doing well tonight in the hustling category as well. Those are energy guys on defense/rebounding etc., while Barry is usually the energy guy on offense.
