People are being too hard On Bari tonight. Mile high on a back to back and your second game back after missing over a month is rough. Should have had limited minutes tonight.
After those two losses to the Nets I just knew we’re gonna lose this one as well. It’s like playing to uncompetitive teams is our weakness. On one hand it doesn’t matter how weak the defence we are playing against, still our shots won’t necessarily go in. On the other hand, it’s like Ime doesn’t have the appropriate defensive plan preparations before playing such teams with unheard names, so we can’t get into our rhythm in defence, which obviously affects our offense as well (lack of transitions plays). Considering Jalen, Alpi and Amen had an overall solid game, this one’s on Ime. You can’t use the excuse of not having Fred or Tari when you play the worst team in the conference, while having three core stars playing a solid game.
Silas was our coach for the tanking era and Stone was our GM for the tanking era too. We need to move on from Stone but Fertitta won't.

People are being hard on the team period. Going after the coach and FO as if the team hasn't already way overachieved this season. They still should have beat this Utah team since they are so bad but yeah this was a tougher b2b than it seems on paper. I think the Rockets will start to gel once they get FVV back and get more homes games back under their feet
Also some of this is on IME, he overplayed the main guys and they were gassed, he sat Cam and Reed the entire 2nd half.....our guys needed a break.....and WTF is Steven Adams not playing against a team with so many bigs like Utah? DD
The Defense has been bad since January and beginning February for some reason...... The injury of Jabari was only a small reason....... The outshooting and outrebounding opponents strategy is not going to work most of the time in the Playoffs.......
I see posts like this and I fully understand why Stone doesn't bother to make deals. Fans are just content. Stone can sit back and keep spreading that bullshit around everytime he's on radio to buy him time like he always does.
Jalen and Alpi combined for 18 assists today, and were notably playing unselfishly--especially in the first three quarters. If we play better defense, this would've been a win 100 times out of 100. Instead, we let the Jazz go on a 30-7 run while they were resting half their starters and trying to tank. Inexcusable, disgusting, but still just one game in the W/L column, I guess. Hope our guys come out with better effort next time, and I hope we can get the bench situation figured out, even if it is vastly unlikely.
