So the ADs and the Goberts couldnt stop us. Bring on the Jokics now so the media will run out of excuses and Respect our smallball!! Oh wait, I bet they will go back to the narrative of "But can they do it in the playoff?", "Small ball wont work because teams will slow down in the playoff", "Rockets missed 27 straight threes in the playoff".
As long as Rockets play defense for 48 minutes against this team, they should win 9 out of 10 times. Harden + Westbrook >>>> Michelle + Kelly Clarkson
I think he actually improved in the Allstar game as a reserve. How he plays, he lulls you to sleep and then gets the assist.
I have to rewatch this game to see what MDA and the Rockets did to neutralize Clarkson in the 2nd half.
small ball forces the guys to focus on defense for the entire game more then they did when capela was still around imo.
Gobert is soft, I cannot believe how well regarded he is around the league; whenever he plays the rockets he's cheeks.
James and Brodie getting more in sync. Those little lobs from Jimi to Russ are way more exciting than the lobs to Capela ever were. Bet we’ll be seeing many more of those. I hope so.
With all the wide-open (and not so wide-open) threes that this offense generates, hitting a good percentage of them (in my opinion) is perfectly sustainable. And the defense was very impressive! Held the Jazz to just 44 points in the second half after giving up 66 in the first. And this is not the Jazz team of old, they're actually a very capable offensive team--but our defense gives everyone fits when we're locked in. James Harden looks like himself again, and Westbrook is still playing like an MVP. The role players are all stepping up. The CLIPPERS LOST! It's time to climb! Also the stream I was watching was totally bugging out towards the end...must've been a Jazz fan operating it
