This was a huge win. I like that Harden/Roco/House/EG/PJ lineup. If Roco makes those 3's, it would have been a 20 pt lead, but the defense was majestic.

Who is the nerd on NBA TV that is still asking “but can small ball work against the Lakers?”

My gawd Harden & Russ 72 pts!! Ilove CP3 but it's clear who Harden has better chemistry with, and with a bit more time they'll be even more in tune come playoffs.

It was far out! Nothing groovier than beating the Jazz in Salt Lake with so much on the line. So cool I’m shivering.

No matter how the D'Antoni era ends, I thank him for all his victories over the hated Utah Jazz. Before he got here it was a dreadful decade + of getting dominated with four straight playoff series losses since 1997. He's eliminated the Jazz from the post season twice and has given us beautiful regular season victories in Salt Lake City, like tonight. Thank you, Mike!

Where is the guy that always wants James to shoot at 50% from deep? I never remember his tag.

Rebound differential only +4 to the Jazz. They were vacating early after shots to get back on defense. And that's because Russ is punishing teams that don't get back fast enough in transition. The Rockets haven't had that in past years.

113 points is the line against utah. If we score more than that we win. The difference between this one and last is EGO.

    Solid win tonight!

What do did guys think about RW's mid range shots? He definitely had a bit of trouble, unsurprisingly, getting to the rim against Gobert. However, because of the spacing and Russ's speed, Gobert pretty much gave him an open 10-15 footer on almost every possession.

I'm sure this is by design, but I'm of the belief that if you give a decent mid range shooter a wide open 12 foot shot in a spot that he likes...the percentages are going to be higher than what you'd just look up at basketball reference. Not to mention, a guy gets into a rhythm and they almost become like glorified free throws. Harpring mentioned that it's almost like shooting at the backyard. At least the thread of the jumper keeps defenders guessing and tonight was an example where got into a good flow and the shots kept dropping.

Granted, mid range shots aren't the most efficient shot by any means, but I'm okay with him taking those jumpers inside the paint, instead of 3's off the dribble or long 2's outside the paint. It certainly worked tonight that's for sure.
