I listened to Jazz broadcast and thought the exact opposite. Matt Harpring praises Harden the whole game. And even said all the questionable calls were actually fouls. Told his team not to reach. Said they were losing cuz they missed shots. Not sure what you watched.
Huh? Harp was calling Harden a superstar all night. He handed out the most compliments that I have seen from another team's broadcast.
I finished the full game. He started pouring on the compliments when the Rockets took off after halftime. Up until then he was doing a ton of whining. Harden kept racking up steals, playing good defense, and hitting his stepbacks and floaters..Herpdick had to change his tune.
IDK why y'all get so mad about local commentators wanting their team to win, its one thing if its national TV guys pushing their boss' agenda, but I'd be pissed too if my team was getting burned by step-back 3s and endlessly fouling the other team.
Seriously. Too many Chefs in the kitchen. EG needs to stay a 6th man. We either need to trade for a new SF, or signs House, or ideally do both of those things.
It was a great win and I'm happy we played as well as we did. But we went up against a Jazz team that really played awful. They consistently missed wide open looks, had a number of unforced turnovers (stepping out of bounds, throwing the ball away, etc.), and in general shot poorly. This team has struggled against otherwise mediocre teams (Knicks, Magic, etc.) - there's a reason that Morey intends to be aggressive as we approach the deadline, and its not because we are good enough as-is. I for one think this team, when fully healthy, is probably the third best team in the west after GSW and OKC. But we dont have the pieces to get past either and will need a few strategic upgrades to let us get there.
In other breaking news, Utah child saddened to learn that he mistook his favorite player, Nene, for Faried.
Hey guys I wasnt able to watch the game but in Clutch's summary he said EG left the game due to a leg injury. Is there any update on this?
