Worrell - " Utah is the best flopping team in the NBA" And we have 2 fouls on Yao in the first 3 minutes on just getting position plays...it's unbelievable.
The first one Yao was running under the basket and Collins stopped in front of him so by the time Yao turned he pushed Collins out...so i would say that was a decent call..... The second one Yao had position in the middle of the lane gets the ball from MO....takes a turn to the basket Collins falls back again with minimum contact for down in the paint and they call Yao for another foul. Second one was definently a bad call in my opinion.
yeah they are getting a lot of offensive rebounds coming their way from long rebounds...it's not so much getting muscled down low or anything. Sidenote = Boki #1 in the league in 3 point shooting....maybe they will invite him to the contest and he can show his stuff lol
Man Boki is stroking it really nice.....great fake and jumper. Then they call another phantom foul on Boki...Raja Bell just jumps into him for no reason and they call a foul.....at least they treat the jazz the way they used to with Stockton and Malone...bunch of calls for them. Then Bokie with a nice slash and just can't finish....he has skills to get to the basket but he has to go up stronger and finish it.
JVG needs to just keep Yao there and make them foul Yao out in the first half and let the refs suck on that. Do it a few games until they get the picture. This season's all about establishing Yao and Tmac anyway.
We are playing in Utah...the league is just trying to stay consistant on how they call games in Utah....they woudn't have it any other way.
I'm annoyed that Yao has 3 already, but the number of fouls called so far has been equal (10 for Rox, 10 for Utah).
The only difference is that the fouls that the Jazz are getting have been really bad calls. The ones they call on the Rockets should have been called. The Jazz are benefiting from a few phantom foul calls.
