You know? The NBA official stats are not always accurate. (5:26) [HOU 30-24] Francis Tip Shot: Made (13 PTS) (5:26) [HOU] Francis Rebound (Off:2 Def:1) Look at the times. Obviously, what Francis did was just to catch the ball after his own shot went in. That's not a rebound, is it? I'm not trying to single out Francis. But for many times I've noticed this kind of "rebounds" counted in the players' stats. Am I wrong or what.
Rockets are shooting 31%. Cato has had at least three shots blocked. Jazz aren't shooting much better. A brickfest so far. At half, Rockets 34 Jazz 33.
does francis realize that just b/c there's about 7 secs left on the shot clock that HE doesn't have to be the only one to take the shot? it's like his teammates become invisible.
Heh heh heh, it was actually Kirilenko who tipped that in, but they had to give credit to the closest Rocket. On another note, I just cannot believe how much trouble Ostertag gives us, every single time.
What I really dislike at the end is the way he STROLLS up to the forecourt. Pik UP u Az ! Man...he sure is in luv with him self, ain't he ?
what a ugly first half? The ball movement is really bad. Cato got blocked a couple of times for the layup.
I'm also fed up with what Franics does at the end of quarters. There were a couple seconds left in the half and Steve slowly walks the ball up the court as if he's got plenty of time. Then he's stuck flinging some wild shot because he wasted so much time walking the ball. You could cleary hear Van Gundy yelling loudly from the bench for Steve to hurry up and do something. Most smart guards would rush the ball up as fast as they could and try to catch the defense off guard.
You're wrong. He got credit for an offensive rebound and tip-in basket off a Cato missed-freethrow. On the other hand, Kirilenko was the one who actually tipped it in, but someone on the offensive team has to get credit for the points and Stevie was the closest player, so he got not only a gift of two points, he also got a gift rebound for his stat line.
Why is it always not against our team when Mavs decide to throw a game? Stupid Mavs! Give a break to your neighbour instead of to Suns! Hopefully Knicks take care of Timberwolves.
Putbacks count as offensive rebounds. The play by play always put the points BEFORE the rebounds which causes confusion. In fact that's just the off. rebound.
