I may be a teacher on leave, but at least I have a class waiting for me when I get back. You sir, have none at all.
Oh just face it already. Yao is a lousy rebounder. He doesn't know how to block out, he's too soft and sometimes he doesn't even look for the ball coming off the rim.
No one said Yao was the best rebounder in the league, but to call someone who avgs 9.8 boards per game which ranks him 11th in the leauge, a lousy rebounder is pretty stupid on your part. Sure he can improve, but he's far from lousy.
They have always interviewed someone from the winning team. ****ing bandwagoner. Just kidding. You're probably overly pissed by the loss, but if you've been following the Rockets as a true fan over the years, you probably should know this, or remember this after the hatred in year heart due to losing to the Jazz subsides.
Whatever. Take your ESPN generated 11th ranking, sort it by rebounds per 48 minutes and Yao is now 28th in the league !!! He's a lousier rebounder then i originally thought !
Looks like some "Franchise-only" fans are trying to move the spotlight and blame others players for the loss..... Stand up and face the reality, a backcourt without a true PG will not ge t you anywhere. Maybe first-round playoff, but that will be IT. Stop blaming Yao for the loss, he DID play aggressively (he scored 14 free throws, while the rest of the team only scored 5), and he scored 3 baskets, as opposed to someone claiming 2, (man, what kind of crack have you been smoking?....... geez, can't even read the boxscore can you?) and performance wise, he had the best numbers than any other starter in the team with 20 points and 10 rebounds. So, danjojo why don't you pull your head out of the hole and start to face the cruel reality - WE NEED A TRUE POINT GUARD!!!
Even danjojo hasn't the gall to defend Francis tonight so he has to attack the player who managed to help keep us in this game.
Hey jackass, nowhere in my posts will you find that i am blaming Yao. I'm stating a fact in the face of idiocy around here that wants to pin the blame entirely on Steve...Forget Jackson going 1 for 8, Cato going 1 for 6 ! Naw it's Francis who can do nothing right. He lost the game...well no **** he's only got 3 assists, nobody was able to put the ball in the basket...25 FGs total !!! You can't face the cruel reality that we sucked as a team !
Yeah Yao was brilliant 3 for 15 !!! I had forgotten that so important 3rd bucket with 30 seconds to play... Yoohoo !!! He forced and bricked everything that didn't come from the free throw line. Why don't you try Taylor, he kept us in the game with 13 points, 6 boards, 1 block, 0 turnovers in 26 minutes. Why don't you try Pike, he kept us in the game going 3 for 6 from downtown.
Yao shot poorly yet still managed to SCORE. Did Yao repeatedly commit offensive fouls to turn over possession? Did Yao shoot a wild jumper with 6 seconds left in the 3rd quarter then let Mo Williams go coast-to-coast for a layup? Did Yao dribble into a crowd of three defenders and instead of passing the ball, wind up getting called for traveling? Did Yao let Raul Lopez drive right past him for layups or leave Lopez wide open for late-game dagger treys? No, no, no, and no. Yet your posts never mention the culprit most responsible for the loss, instead you attack the player who scored 26% of our total points tonight. You, sir, are just as bad as any Yao-Only Fan; you're a F.rancis-A.pologist G.eek.
whatever. just shoot francis. i'm tired of reading the same old crap. Yao was very good last night...i especially loved it when he held the ball around his knees for the little white guy to steal it...but we should have given him the ball more...we would be the best team in the league if only we got rid of steve...
Tonight's loss to Utah was barbaric but.... Tonight's loss to Utah was barbaric but I feel better and have a lot of consolidation when I know the Jazz floppers and lamers have never won a championship haha
JVG realy got an education last night. He got a loud and clear picture of what he inherited from the previous Coach.Provided he checks the Tapes he will get another dose of Utah Team Basketball. It will upset him very much but he will now truly be able to evaluate his players and the chances he has of coaching them or not.
AK47 stepped up big time in the 4th quarter and pretty much carried his team to victory. Never thought I’d see the day where Kirilenko would be giving Yao and Steve lessons on how a true leader plays.
