Good lord, how can say things like that to the Franchise. I am afraid you will be hammered by many homers and diehard fans, but surprised nobody did it yet. I guess it's your lucky day or those homers and diehard fans just got busy with the turkey dinner and forgot about tonight's game.

Well, happy holidays to you all! Relax, it's just a game. Tomorrow will be another day.

Oh, those who still labels fans should get their big mouths stuffed with Turkey and stop putting the labels. They humiliating themselves by labelling others.

How many are getting the Max and have a near 1/1 Assist/TO ratio?

How many of them are vets that are putting up numbers slightly worse than their rookie season?

I can only name one, and he's on our team. :(

Again, stop the hatred if you can. Sports is supposed to bring peace and promote competition not hatred.

Instead of cursing Jazz, how about asking Rockets to exectute and play better?

    Just my 2 cents.

We have been asking them to execute better for quite a while. Doesn't seem to be working.

All of our weaknesses were badly exposed. I feared that Yao would have a tough time. Their defense prevented him by making it difficult to get his shots off and they blocked him easily.
Francis couldn't stop anyone on defense and our lack of physical defense made it easy for them.Harpring didn't have a big game but they still won easily.JJ was terrible tonight.
They had a backup PG school us and Lopez was very good too.
JVG was outcoached. He has not been able to make any adjustments during the games when we are getting in trouble but it's the players who really deserve the blame after all it's up to them to play correctly,
We are no better than what we were last year. I don't see any improvement at all.
Everyone knows our problems and are badly exposing us again.
The players are also showing no heart at all.
Trades will not solve the problems either because we are not likely to get quality in return for even Mobley.Francis and Yao should not be traded as they remain our best players despite their faults.
The Grizzlies and the Jazz are playing much better than us when it counts in crunch time.
I fear the Rockets will miss the playoffs again.

yep, no doubt about it. I was under the "illusion" that Cat and Stevie might actually GROW UP. Oh well ! And Yao, what a p***y cat! Yiukes...these are not men playing a boys game, they're boys playing against men. Maybe Euwing can suit up. I feel a trade coming on, maybe not today, but coming on. You have to know Van Gundy is thinking,"Francis is a loose cannon, with the right guy at point I can make this work a little."

Just curious, who is Steve second to as a point guard in this league now?

I can name a few, such as Jason Kidd, Steve Nash, Gary Payton, Tony Parker, S. Marbury(arguably), Baron Davis, etc.

But after Jazz game and Blazer game, I am not sure because it looks at least Steve is no better than anybody else.

No Steve bashing, he is a great athlete. It's just that this PG position doesn't fit him well.

I think SG needs to be traded sooner than later because the longer we wait his value will drop.

Yes. Look at the game they lost to Portland. Steve was way out played by Stoudamire.. I remember he was beaten by Andre Miller, Baron Davis, Gary Payton, even by Jason Will...almost every PG..including tonight's no name rookie guard..

I feel so embarassed to see our guards names on the all-star ballot. I went there and looked. who can be worse than them on that guard list? Tell me..

I feel you, man, though you quoted wrong. It's really embarrassing. I like most of tonight's posts. Not too many radicals here tonight.

Before, if you dare to say anything bad about the guards, they would label you, insult you immediately, which made communication almost impossible.

I see that the obvious can't be seen amongst the geniuses in here.

A 7'6" center that CAN shoot (tonight's game was Yao's worst...but it woudl have been a regular night for Francis or Mobley) and get to the FT line AND make his FTs aren't a dime a dozen.

But, a 7'6" center that CAN'T shoot (2 for 15), can't get rebounds and gets blocked 6 times per game...still a dime a dozen but it ain't any good...

All the "Mormon" jokes are interesting, considering the Jazz do not have one Morrmon on the team. I am from Los Angeles and still continue to be amazed out how fans underestimate my team. It was definitely an ugly ugly game.

Yeah grabbing 10 rebounds isn't much at all. And don't give me that, cause of his height he should be getting 20 boards, cause if that were true, why didn't Shawn Bradley or Manute Bol ever lead the league in rebounding.

God it feels good to beat Houston. It will be sad to not be division rivals next year.

lol...are you keeping stats on yao getting blocked 6 times a game? i bet that wont happen ever again in his career. and i don' think you can say this was an average shooting night for yao either. if you want to get on him then you at least have to acknowledge that getting the line 16 times or whatever it was is pretty impressive. and with how he played tonight i am happy with 10 boards.

yao must keep hands up!! and quit taking so long....attack and go! he has the shots all the time if he just goes!! so frustrating at times when he hesistates! but he will learn and thats why i love yao.

Because they stunk. Now, go look at the top players. Wilt, Russell, Shaq, Duncan. WHat kind of numbers do they put up? They dominate the post.

Yao's rebounding positioning is horrible. He doesn't box out. It's not necessarily his 10 boards. It's all the boards and put backs that his opponent gets against him. If he would just box out his opponent and prevent them from racking up so many boards, more boards would go to his teammates. And for goodness sake, get some quickness and grab the ball, quit batting at it and tipping it. Grab it. Are his hands small? He should be able to snatch the ball with one hand, ala Otis Thorpe. Yao is not nearly physical enough rebounding.
