After checking the schedule, the Rockets next play at the Delta Center on April 3rd, their third to last game of the season. By then, the Rockets will probably still be in the playoff hunt, while the Jazz will be in the lottery. Why do I get the feeling that the Jazz will be the spoilers for the Rockets in that game, and wreck their chances of reaching the playoffs.

i think the main reason why most of the posters are pissed off is because the dirty jazz beat us. we all hate the jazz. blah to the jazz. even without stock and malone, they still flop!

Yeah, worst of all is, you have an even worse backup point guard sitting on the bench....
I just wish we could bring in a REAL point guard, starter or backup I don't care.....~

The answer is simple: The Jazz play Team Basketball and their mind set is on one thing only let's win!
The Rockets hardly ever play good Team Basketball. They are in Transition from Four years of agony ball and are only in the learning stage, struggling to change the bad habbits and mind sets of the past four years. We are expecting too much too early. Its going to take JVG two seasons and several trades to get his team together and playing under his direction.

It is the JAZZ without their franchise players! Don't you understand it! :(

Trust me, the Jazz will not be in the lottery.
How ironic would it be if the Rox lose again, and are out of the playoffs.

Wizard, the main reason why their record is good is because of their soft schedule.

Of their 14 games so far they have not played:

Lakers, Kings, Spurs, Twolves, Hornets, Pistons or Pacers

They will not go 9-5 (each 14 game stretch) when the schedule gets tougher

I would blame JVG and Ewing for this. Yeah, I am sure they have pointed it out to Yao. But as coaches, you have to force him to get rid of this bad habit by whatever means. Just as somebody blaming SF for his ball movement, I would also blame coach for this, b/z it's their responsiblility to force him to change by whatever means. I believe every player is coachable.

I thought Boki would've matched well w/ AK. Too bad he didn't get the change. And why is Moochie continue to get playing time?

As per the previous games headline on the Clutchfans homepage.. the new one should be 'The Offense Disappears'

Trying for the playoffs will backfire on the Jazz because they will not get a high draft pick. They need a high draft pick this year to get talent, or else they will be stuck in mediocrity forever.

I heard Yao got blocked by Karalinko constantly from behind. Probably due to bad spacing by the stupid players on the court.

And JJackson hardly show up offensively.

There is no reason for Rox to lose this game, because I think those Jazz are all weak players except Karalinko. Rox should schooled them. So i am quite dissapointed by this loss.

Didn't we MISS the PLAYOFFS last season due to just a SINGLE REGULAR SEASON GAME?!

Improvement has to start somewhere, and we are simpy showing our disgust that we aren't seeing any improvement.
We can be happy, and worry and rant at the same time. It's a talent.

but that one came at the cruch time. I am not blaming Yao too much for this loss. He got 20-10 anyway, but the thing is he and Steve are the star players in the team, they should step up when the game is on line.

    What are you saying???
The Jazz are millions under cap. Their payroll is only 29 million. They can easily pick up a great free agent.

well what the hell can yao do when greg ostertag is standing in front of you...ak47 behind you..and some other pests all around you! Yao is too slow..he can't react..he either goes and tries to score and do his stuff and get fouled or passes...I think the Jazz were fouling. Refs were calling some of them..but they should have been calling some every single time! I think the refs were trying to help us and be as fair as possible...we still lost. Too many mistakes..not makin shots.

Francis...I agree with most people. I usually support him and I think he's an All Star and is 2nd best point guard in the NBA and all that and is a great dunker and is awesome but tonight he was just horrible. I would love to play Mobley, Piatkowski, and Jackson or Padgett or Nachbar together if Steve plays like this. Moochie is not solid enough either. It seems like Moochie has improved though.

Francis for AK47 and Arroyo? Now why would the Jazz want Francis after watching him so many years against them...?
