Let me begin by saying AHHHHHH!!!!!! I HATE the damn j*zz! How in the HELL did they win tonight?!?!? Flopton and Karla are GONE yet the curse of the Jazz still continues. I was praying for a sniper's shot to ring out in the Delta Center during the fourth but alas, I was denied.   I am completely flabergasted after this loss, I feel that the refs totally took us out of this one tonight. I WANT BLOOD ON DECEMBER 3RD!!!!!!!! DIE JAZZ DIE!!!!!!

Steve did not show up in Portland....ROX LOST
Steve did not show up in Utah.....ROX LOST

    u get the picture!

If he's an All-Star like people claimed he is...he needs to play like one. An All-Star would not turnover the ball like 5 times each game. An All-Star should play fundamental basket. Steve is a streetballer and a streakshooter.

They should have traded him for Iversion when AI was fuming with Larry back 2 years ago.

Yao WAS aggressive for the most part tonight, he wasn't shy about initiating contact, which was why he did wind up taking 16 FTs.

    This loss really HURTs.

I hate the freaking Jazz. And losing to them after flopton and Karla are gone is just unberable.

Steve just plainly sucked. Usually I defend him when people criticize him, but tonight he just sucked, period.

Yao was simply OFF tonight (did he ever have a worse shooting game than this one). And how the hell can a 7'6" guy get blocked by a 6'9" guy FOUR times? Well, at least he drew some fouls.

I liked Cato's energy on the board, but please dont shoot if you are going to get blocked every freaking time.

Mo made some shots, but he still needs to move the ball more quickly. I hate seeing a bench player being a black hole.

Pike played well. I think he should get more time. If Steve doesn't produce, bench his ass and play Cat and Pike together.

Can anyone honestly say that Steve Francis running the point is not a problem for the Rockets?

He was absolutely abused again tonight. In almost every game he is the best athlete on the court, but most of the time he is not even close to being the best point guard. He is really playing out of position. Our lack of fast break buckets is alarming, and he has shown repeatedly that he is incapable of running a 2 or 3 on 1 fast break.

This team is in dire need of a distributing point guard. Steve doesn't need to be traded, but he does need to play another position. I can just imagine what Van Gundy must be thinking right about now. How long will he be willing to stand for this type of garbage play from his "franchise" point guard?

like him or hate him, jerry sloan ranks up there with any coach in the modern era. look a the talent at he's disposal, and yet he some how has made them into a solid team. 8 and 6 and 7 wins and 1 loss home record. this guy deserves he's dues..

Cato is a TOTAL liability on offense. I don't care how many rebounds he rips down. He's 7 feet tall!!!!! Someone just shoot me everytime he gets blocked. Same goes for Yao. You're 7'6"!!!!!! HELLO!!!!! ARGHHH. This really drives me nuts. After such a bad experience, even Master & Commander looks pretty good right around.

The Rox are 9-5 (a good record) but who have they beat that's any good?

Bottom line: Rox aren't as good as their record and prolly win about the same amount of games as last year. :(

The Refs at the Delta Center have ALWAYS been biased. Something about that arena and the fans seems to get the better of the refs. All those foul calls makes you think they are so whistle happy. On the fliip side, you have all those NON-calls too when Yao was mugged. Poor officiating all around. It's amazing how refs can deflate a game so easily.

This game was frustrating to watch. If we're gonna have more games like this, my head would be like Van Gundy.

Despite his 20-10. Yao was terrible. If you're 7-6 and play tippy toe like a sissy you aint gonna get respect from nobody. It wasn't a suprise to see his weaked ass shots blocked by the russian bone. Go strong and dunk the ****ing ball and break some arms damn it.

Why the hell is he's keep bringing the ball down. Can someone give him a 1000v shot in his ass very time he bring the ball down in practice?.

Cynthia Cooper needs to stick to balling. Her commentary on fouling was pretty atrocious. "Fouls affect penenetration and rotation." Thanks John Madden on the obvious.

Also, Yao is playing like a weak BIOTCH right now.

Bang around in the post!!!! C'mon dude.

The Double teams came and he was falling apart! The Yao Homers have got to realize that he is playing soft right now. Hopefully he'll pick up the aggressiveness as the season matures.

Wow! I agree with most of the comments about Steve. I have been a long time Steve and Cat supporter, but, DAMN!!! These guys have no clue about how to play simple ass basketball. Don't get me wrong. Steve is a wonderful talent, but we gotta move him from the point. His inability to see the floor in the half court set is killing us. Either dump the ball low a step quicker, or swing it to the open man. At one point, Pike was hot, but he didnt get the ball back for a while. They have gotta learn how to read what the defense is giving them. This is basic middle-school basketball.

Hell, he can't even see the floor in a 3 on 1 fast break. WHAT THE HELL!!! He always seems to say the right things about buying in to JVG's plans, but on the floor, he is a totally different monster.

    Rant over.

I am still excited about the prospects of this season. I still believe we will get the offense running smoothly and we will see the promised land of the playoffs finally.

    GO ROX

JVG needs to work more on his offensive game plan. It should not just be dumping the ball to the post. SF, unde JVG's system, is
averaging less in points scored, assist, shooting percentage and rebounds.
