Or better yet more than twice as many TOs than assists. I get the feeling the light-bulb will never turn on in this guys head. Same stupid mistakes over and over again.
Anybody else notice that the Rockets always hover around 4 games above .500? If they are at 5 games above .500, then they always lose the next game and go back down to 4 games above .500. If they are at 3 games above .500, then win the next one. The Rockets did the same thing last year. I think that the Rockets have a psychological complex to always be at 4 games above .500. If they do, then they will finish 43-39 again this season.
Rockets need a PG who distribute and assist the teammates and make them better, making better decision. Francis ain't doing it. That's why the Rockets will ALWAYS be at the bottom of the league in team assist.
Yeah, I was quite happy when I heard that Arroyo couldn't play.. just imagine what kind of disaster would it be if that guy was playing...
id love AK on this team. Hearing him say id rather be a team player and win then scoring all the points is something we need.
I didn't get a chance to watch the game. Somebody please tell me, how could a 7'-6'' guy got his shots blocked so many times in a single game. This is crazy, I just don't get it
It's obvious this team needs to trade Steve, but the question is, which team would want him and his max contract??
everytime he would go up for a shot you would have two or three players jumping up to block it. Usually you had AK coming from the weakside supporting and he would get the block.
I dont know But it seemed like some of those so called blocks were muggins but the refs wouldnt blow the damn whistles
Trade Ak47 and Arroyo for Fracis I was watching the interview with AK and he is a very likable person. He said he does NOT care about his stats only WINING
Francis still need to change his attitude on the court. He's probably have no respect for those lowly players like ARoya or Lopez and think he can just schooled them. Therefore, he doesn't give it all when he play these players. That's the attitude he needs to change. He talks about respecting opponents this year but i bet he still have no respect for lowly players and did not take them seriously. He needs to respect and show up and play some serious basketball or this team is in trouble.
I would trade Steve Francis for him but I doubt Utah would do that deal. Ivan Drago is a defensive stud and his offense is really coming around. He is going to be a great player.
just got done watching the game on NBA League Pass 6... the only thing more nauseating than the Rockets offense is watching it on FoxSportsMormon and Hot Rod Hunter.. makes me sick... this game was too much like the Blazers game Friday night.. in fact, i mentioned that to people i was watching the game with in the SECOND quarter... and the offense did not respond until the 4th quarter.. the j*zz also stepped up in the 4th quarter..its too late by then to turn it on.. you can't walk into the 4th w/50 points on the road in the west and expect to win.. by the time you hit the 4th and the home team makes their obligatory offensive flurry, you're f'd.. making maurice williams look like the best player in the league.. and this lopez character.. oh man.. who's to blame? some here say Van Gundy.. maybe, i just think we're putting a uncooked offensive product out there right now.. we're talking 10 shots in 10 mins...that's shot attempts.. it's simply not going to work like that.. i firmly believe a better, more consistent offense is on the way.. it's still game 14.. but repeated performances of games in the 70's is sick.. rockets. just dont make me suffer through another loss to Utah on league pass.. i'll shoot the tv, then go after the tabernacle.. davesavage springfield, mo
it is very sad. I listen to the radio and I keep hearing the turn over. I like Steve and think he is very talented but he is not a point guard. His decision with the ball is very questionable. We have no point guard in the team.
Yao is playing like a Stay-Puft Marshmellow Man down low. He needs to grow a pair and take it to the rack with authority.
