I want to see how this game plays out without Yao in the lineup. He always seemed to be a step or two slow on defense when trying to guard Okur or Boozer and on rebounds vs the Jazz. Without him we are faster on defense. Also, on offense the Jazz would swarm him in the post. They are playing a different team tonight. Utah is not playing that tough defense like a few years back I am noticing. I think this will be a close game.
Okur probably won't be as effective as he has been seasons before. He had a sprained ankle and didn't play against the Clippers. Let's see what happens, but I feel like containing Derron Williams will be key. We have our bigs that can, to a pretty high degree, keep up with their bigs. As long as we can stop Derron from getting easy scores for players like Milsap we should be able to keep up.
I really don't have any stats to back this up but Lowry seems to have played well against Utah. He gets into the paint and to the line. I hope to see him get good minutes tonight.
I wonder if the Jazz isn't the one team the Rockets are better against without Yao Ming, who had issues guarding both Okur and Boozer. Besides, Chuck Hayes tends to do pretty well against these guys. By the way, if the Rockets win this game, and then the game vs. Lakers. Expect multiple "Do we really need Yao Ming?" threads. Fans on this forum can't stop demanding trades and firings whether the team wins or loses.

Is the game NOT going to be on Fox SW? I want the Rockets to win this game! Bad! My dislike (I hate to use the work "hatred" though it applies) of the Jazz is intense, deep, long standing, and passionate. I might trade two losses to the Clippers for this win. No, forget that. Just win.
League Pass won't show tonight's game and where am I supposed to watch this game? Logging onto NBA.com then I noticed that this game cannot be viewed in NBA LPBB.
that web site is hit or miss, sometimes they will show the game, sometimes they wont. other times they show games in horrible quality!!!!!!!
