No hes not, hes a successful veteran coach and they don't change lineups when they are winning. And if he was questioning the starting PG position, then he wouldn't have inserted Rafer in at the end of the game.

I would say, if anything, he's sacrificing Yao's inside game to free up every body else's game, not just T-Mac's. T-Mac isn't attempting any more shots, just better shots. And it's leaving more room for others to get good shots as well.

Yao had plenty of opportunities to score on post ups in this game, btw, and he simply didn't play well. You can't pin that on Adelman.

Yao can't even chase Boozer of his shot from 15 feet out. How can he possibly be expected to do so with Okur 23 feet from the basket?

Scola can guard him. Of course, Scola can at least irritate Boozer, as well. I love how we're going to be able to sub Scola for Yao at the 5, when the matchup during a game calls for it. It gives Yao a breather, especially if he's in foul trouble, like tonight.

Okur can't drive past Yao, he's not quick enough. The only problem is Rox would have no interior defense playing that way, and Utah likes to score under the basket.

scola didn't guard boozer once, his assignment was and should be okur, hayes did a fine job on boozer when yao was out. in a perfect world it should be hayes on boozer and scola on okur all night. nights where yao played like he did tonight on the offensive end makes scola and hayes that much more valuable. knock on wood of course, but at least going to last year, yao has not looked very comfortable.

the stretch where scola and hayes were in there was a really fine combination. nothing against yao, because he will find teams to destroy, just not the jazz and boozer

Yao'll play more minutes this year. His scoring and efficiency per minute will go down a little, but everything else will go up.

A lot of people don't realize but this game was really won in the 2nd quarter when Yao went to the bench with 3 fouls and while T-Mac was also resting. For about 5-6 minutes, both our stars were on the bench and our 2nd unit led by James, Scola and Bonzi led the Rockets surge. T-Mac was well rested and came back to take over the game from there on. In previous years we could never have this kind of bench production and be forced to bring McGrady back in the game right away. Now we can go stretches in a game with both stars on the bench and still have a productive team on the floor. This is very important because come playoff time we need players than can make shot without having to wear down our superstars.

Bottom line the 2001-2004 T-Mac is BACK!

Like I was saying last year, Yao should play one-man zone and the team should let Kirilenko unguarded.

Great win. Tmac is ................ oh I am still trying to think of a word to describe his performance tonight.

Tmac wins games >>> Kobe scores 50 points and lose games.

A lot of people were saying we needed to find another starting PF to guard Boozer. What I'm saying is that would never happen, because that would require putting Yao on Okur.

Yeah, this rofflesaurus moron can't b**** Yao got blocked by Okur now because that was Yao who was blocking them tonight. So he turned onto something else. I just wonder...can't this fool at least pretend to be a Rockets fan tonight that he is happy with the win so he will just take one night off from being a hater? No, he can't because he just can't resist the temptation. Yao didn't play well tonight and he can't afford to miss this opportunity to do the bashing. He must be thinking that too bad the Rockets won tonight, otherwise his bashing would be even more convincing and have a bigger audience.

My advice for this rofflesaurus fool: Next time, at least pretend to be a Rockets fan and act like you are actually celebrating the win.

Yao laid back because he's worried about Boozer's drive. What I'm saying is for him to just guard the jumper for Okur, not worry about the drive at all. If he drives, he drives.
