A very nice line for Mike James.

    15 pts (3-6 FG, 1-1 3PT, 7-8 FT), 7ast, 2 stl, 0 TOs

He played 25 minutes with no turnovers. That is excellence.

The team, as a unit, only turned over the ball 14 times with 6 coming from Yao.

Yao struggled but people shouldn't get on him about it. It is not a matchup issue. He didn't get in a rhythm due to foul trouble. Independently, he had an off shooting night. That is not a big deal.

hopefully yao can get his 20-25 pts next time and tmac doesn't have to do this.

but i feel like tmac will score 30 every game now b/c he has what? 3 assists again. he's looking to shoot every time which is good for this team.

again, tmac is the ONLY one who u can say can be a better scorer than kobe.

Confession time. I predicted the Jazz by 20+, but I said I hoped I was wrong. Well I was, and I am ecstatic. I was not really that impressed with the win in LA. Well, now I am impressed. TMac has never looked better. Folks, you saw the TMac of the "early years" tonight. Was it Kobe or TMac, hard to tell!? Awesome. When he plays like this he is as good as any player to ever play the game. How about the toughness of Scola, James, and Wells. Clearly James is going to take the majority of minutes at PG, he is a clutch shooter. Hayes had a quiet but very effective game. I won't mention Yao to keep things positive. He did have some clutch shots in the fourth. Otherwise, no comment. Very impressive win.

in spite of yao playing horrible and getting owned by boozer (as usual), we still managed to win. t-mac played amazing today, but we cant rely on him to get 47 points every night.

I was pi$$ed earlier on th board to see fellow members kiss the Jazz a$$es. I am glad to see the Rockets kick some a$$ tonight. This felt great after the tough loss six months ago. Even though Yao had a rough game he did score 3 key buckets to keep the Jazz at bay.

    GREAT WIN!

Tmac should be considered MVP before Yao!

Like our bench, Scola, James and Bonzi, effort and energy. For the second straight games in this young season, they came in and changed the pace of the games!

Deke looks old! It may be a mistake to let go of Butler!

Man what a big win, Rockets made a statement against the Jazz, after a slow start they were just dominant, and great down the stretch.
What can we say about T-Mac's performance, he makes it look so easy ! T-Mac showed that he is at the top of his game and I believe he's the most talented player in the league with performances like that. He's gonna keep up I tell you, it's his season
The bench was huge, and everyone was in the clutch. Yao who really struggled, had some big shots, Shane had some great defense, everyone contributed.

2-0 to start, GO ROCKETS !!

Great T-Mac interview after the game !

Well... Tonight TMAC played like the best player in the NBA. But we all know there's no better pure scorer in the league than Kobe. Carmelo is probably one of the best pure scorers as well, of course he's not even close to the ALL-AROUND player TMAC is however.

Tmac tonight played like the best player in the NBA..

Is Yao allowed to get pts below his average for one game without bashing? I hope so. Rockets just win and who care?

Too bad Stevie can't get his act together. We really could have used his rebounding tonight. But a win is a win!

This WIN is huge. Now we can have one of our super starts have an off night and the team still has the role players to win.
This team is going to be much better once they get used to the new system.
