It's too bad that when Yao tried to return the favor in the first quarter Okur flooped on Yao. It sure would be nice if it went both ways.
We started off very slow with our starters but as soon as we started playing our bench (SCOLA, JAMES, BONZI, HEAD) we became more aggressive and fearless. T-mac has 26 points in only on 17 minutes. Yao has 3 fouls and thus was benched for the majority of the second. Millsap got hit in the head with a pass which was hilarious. It's a role reversal, i.e., the Jazz actually looked intimidated by US for a change. MJ's defense and grit overpower Deron...Rafer looks...well kinda scared and....oh crap gotta go...2nd half starting...Battier!
i said last season in the playoffs yao should have played less, and dikembe more and i got flamed..... well now you see, against the jazz yao hurts more than he helps. t-mac dropped 44 on them in regular season last year while yao was out and he blew them out.
The same thing happened a couple years ago when Yao was injured and Deke played. Yao's lack of defense and rebounding showed itself. Maybe WORST was an exaggeration but there aren't 5 starting centers worse defensively than Yao. He is completely incompetent out there. The sad part is that he'll only get more immobile with time. As radical as this might sound to Yao fans, I'm not so sure that he hasn't already seen his best days.
I think we will have to agree to disagree. I dont trust Battier to be consistent supporting Tmac and Yao(on offense).
I almost didn't see that little tiny disclaimer that would otherwise will save you from the wrath of YOF's..... But still.....you should never EVER joke like that, unless you wanna risk getting burned on the boards
