Are you kidding me? Its called matchups. Amare owned Duncan a few years ago, does that make Duncan the worst defensive player in the league? I'm sorry if I don't follow your logic that we could win last year if Juwan played instead.

Yao played, because he was forced to play and we lacked options. You seriously can't compare our bench this year to last year.

Bad start losing by 12, bench comes in and brings us within 5 at the end of 1.
2nd period Tmac goes off and we have the lead. Scola, James and Wells are kicking arsssss off the bench.

Ginobili and Popovich disagree and Mike James and Adelman disagrees too.

Because of Okur, it's tough for Yao because he has to guard Boozer. The refs also made a bone-headed call on his 3rd foul that basically benched him the entire 2nd quarter.

I'm happy with the way the game is going, however, we can't start the second half like we started the first. The Jazz were basically playing like last year 5 on 2 Rockets. Hopefully Rick Adelman realizes this and puts in either James or Scola into the starting line-up. Put Yao on Okur forget Boozer, it's not working and it didn't work last year. Can't wait for the second half :D

He's basically on the bench because he's playing like a passive vagina....sure the fouls were bogus but the aggressor usually gets the calls...

yao cant guard either okur or boozer... yao cant touch okur's range, and boozer is simply too physical and rangy for the big fella.

    awesome. thanks.

glad to hear that our bench actually produces this season (so far). sounds like this would be a game that we would still be losing last year.

Come on man. We are talking about 3 either bad or so so offensive players in the starting lineup. Just change one. Thats all im saying. If you want to keep Mike on the bench change Chuck or Battier.

You can't afford to rest your stars and have no scoring. Momentum is a b****. If you lose it, you may not get it back.

If TMAC, YAO, and Battier do their job, you don't have to rely on Rafer or Chuck for offense. If James were in there, he'd be taking shots away from TMAC and Yao. If Scola were in there, he wouldn't get many touches. Regarless of how Rafer's doing, it's better for all involved if James and Scola come off the bench. Also, even though Rafer is starting, James IS seeing more minutes.

but, if we are to win this game, yao has to contribute and put some points on the board.
