FOr me the key is to stop Deron and Boozer. Well I'd put Tracy on Williams and he would be probably done, but what with Boozer? Again Yao?

The games on NBA LP were free last year weren't they? Maybe they weren't but i was watching most of them right here on my computer. But yesterday when i was checking to see if the Warriors game would work(just to test) it didnt, instead it lead me to a NBA LP page:s. Any idea if i was lucky last year or something?
Utah is going to destroy us tomorrow Utah is going to destroy us tomorrow This I fear. I'm not saying that we're not the better team. All things considered, we will undoubtedly be the clear favorite by season's end (assuming health). Its just that we simply aren't prepared to face that team at this point. Its way too early in the season and if it took a Battier game winning three to do the job last night, I dont think we can hang on long enough to eek out a win in Utah. Looking at the highlights from the GSW game last night, the Jazz are rollin'. Ronnie Brewer and Milsap are playing with a lot of confidence, which will more than enough make up for Fisher's absence. AK is BACK. Deron is going to abuse Rafer just like in round one. I really wish Francis was in shape and on the court. I dont know if this merited a new thread, but I made it so that people here would not jump ship and commit Seppuku after we lose. This is a learn process, people. A lot of you like to jump to conclusions after seeing basically nothing. Rafer is God after a few preseason games. McGrady is afraid of Kobe Bryant after 5 minutes into the first game of the season. Adleman should be fired for playing Yao in the high post. Just consider yourself warned. Its not the end of the world if we lose to Utah. Its only the beginning of our ascent into the elite.
#1 nobody is going to destroy us. #2 Warriors makes bobcats look good on offense. #3 No more Jazzhole pumping on this board.
Since I'm a Jazz fan, I'm allowed to pump up them, right? I didn't know what to expect from Utah this season, especially with all the turmoil we went through during the off-season. But after last night's game, I feel good about the direction Utah is heading in. The fact is, if this game were in Houston, I'd give the Rockets the edge. But since it's in Salt Lake, I feel confident Utah can win. Either way, I expect a fairly close game and I wouldn't be shocked if the Jazz lost (though I'm not expecting it). I do think these predictions of Houston routing Utah are ridiculous, however.
Should be a great game...F the Jazzholes... Rox: 105 Jazzholes: 101 I was with my girl last night watching the game and she was telling me to calm down...I guess I get a little emotional when watching the Rox and the bad calls, etc... Well, I could have told her to STFU, but then I wouldn't have scored...
This will be a tough game. I really hope the Rockets show up ready to play an intense and aggressive game. I still want Hayes to start with Scola coming off the bench along with Bonzi and James. To win this game, I think the difference will need to be how we defend against the guard penetration and if we can get to the line more than Utah. This will mean that we caused more tough outside shots for Utah with (hopefully) a lower FG% and that we took it to the basket more forcing the contact and getting more points in the paint. GOOOOO ROCKETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is going to be really tough in Utah. I watched the Jazz game against the Warriors (don't worry, I watched Rockets-Lakers live and recorded the other game) and with the exception of Mehmet Okur, Utah just played great, Deron Williams and Carlos Boozer were perfect, and Kirilenko had a monster game. Ronnie Brewer was really good too. Anyway I still believe Rockets can win this one, they really have to play better than last night, and the whole team has to step up. I'm sure it can turn out to be a great game, I won't miss it. We haven't forgotten what happened last year, so let's go Rockets and beat these Jazzholes
This one will be really tough! We ain`t clicking yet, still learning the offense, still trying to find out who should play together. The Jazz are way better than the Lakers... This is the first real test for this team, and I think it comes to early. I don`t really expect a win here for us. Later in the season when we got the offense down, that will be a whole different story!
our 2 stars have to shine again. put tmac/battier on deron if need be. none of their SG/SF are major threats. bonzi and james will deliver as usual. just hope rafer can make some shots. tmac - 28, 7, 5 yao - 27, 11, 2
i think this would be a test on how much we improve from last year. i expect a big game luis because he will be getting tons of minutes matching up against boozer. i see the rockets winning. 115-103. go rox!
This could be a closer game than what the opening games have suggested. Utah faced off against a GSW side without J-Rich (traded) and S-Jax (suspended) two major players for them last season. Azubuike also started. The Rockets could be more pumped and ready than the Jazz are. They have probably got revenge on their minds while Jazz are thinking home game. I've changed my mind about this game. I think the Rockets will take this one.
