Honestly, does it take it pure PG to bring the ball up, hand the ball off to T-mac, and brick wide open 3's? Mike James ran the offense quite well.
This half makes it more obvious than ever that Yao is nothing but a liability against Utah. His ineffectiveness at the defensive end negates any plus that he adds offensively. The physicality of Boozer intimidates him and turns his skills flat on their face. The small quick lineup that we're playing is 10 fold better than any lineup with Yao. For every person that screamed at me for asserting that the Rockets would've beaten Utah in the playoffs with Yao on the bench, it's time to eat crow.
PURE POINT GUARD AND RAFER IN THE SAME SENTENCE. Please get me the chiba you are smoking. The ghosts of point guards past are going to slap you silly for saying that. Rafer makes me pine for the days of Kenny Smith's pg play.
Ok.I won't say anythin' about our bench....Man they're amazin' . They carry us. As for T-Mac. Nothin' is gonna stop him this season. He's feelin' it!
Its so nice being the team that has depth. We can finally afford one of our star players having an off game.
I know Mike James has to rest and everything but damn.. Williams didn't do crap when James was in... he barely scored... now rafer is back in and its school time. Just leave James in the whole game!
I'm watching on the jazz broadcast. At the beginning of the game one of their "keys of the game" was the bench. The commentator said the jazz bench was better than the rockets'. LOL HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Suck it.
