The offensive foul on Yao was atrocious. That ref should lose his job. I think they should fire ALL NBA refs and start from scratch.

 

Yes you can. He's a mentally weak player who can be harassed into shooting slumps. Scola is the perfect type of defender for Okur: Smaller, quicker, quick hands, long arms who can turn Okur into a statue when he catches the ball. This forces Okur into the post where he isn't that good.

Unfortunately, Yao is the exact type of player you cannot put on Okur.

Don't get overconfident. Remember when we were down by 10. Things can change quickly.

 

Now we just have to continue to play the same. I mean do not shoot that much, go to the basket, draw fould and of course play defense. Okur is feelin' it.

Yao just is the wrong matup against the Jazz. He won't get the calls, he wont rebound; especially the long ones, Boozer will own him, this should be the formula against the Jazz, God Bless Scola!!!
