It was so much more fun last season when we were losing, but Yao was dropping 30+ points on someone. This game, we didn't even have that to enjoy, just a brick fest staring T-Mac and Skip.

sigh, what a disappointment, rafer why did u do that ........ Luther - People die all the time get over it, he is just a dead weight out there, TMAC with his stupid jumpers, but when he drives to the Rim even aK47 had to foul, JUST DRIVE DAMNIT. snyder reasonable, battier reasonable, bit quiet, padgett did what i expected him to, not much, Novak, bitterly disappointing, I dont mind losing, as long as there are positives to reflect on so i can see we're improving on some level, but that was disgusting, we are so weak in so many aspects, besides his assists tmac didnt do much, 3 steals, yea so what,. even for volume shooter his efficiency was horrendous, and whats with his free throws......... sigh...... why Yao should have been given the ball more, FREAKING RAFER, IF TMACS OFF DISH IT YAO, HE WAS SCORING. Instead of rafer trying to make up for his intial TERRIBLE shooting performance, he should have just sacrificed that bit of pride and actually HELP the team out and dishing it to yao more, instead of trying to balance out his FG% from Disasterious to Bad.

Better not see anything that bad all season ever again

    Lets look at the bad:

    Free throw shooting
    T-mac's shooting
    Shane Battier's rebounding and passing
    Our defence
    Rafer Alston's game heroics/decisions.

Yeah its not looking that good.

The performance of T-mac was too bad:
    T-Mac: 8-24 1-4 8-13

    Yao: 8-12 0-0 6-7
Yao needs more ball while T-mac should shoot less

Sigh... same old same old... watching Yao not get fed, while he has good post position, and watching the other Rockets jack up bricks. What else is new?

T-Mac was clearly tired by the end of the fourth quarter, I mean why else were all his shots way short? Why didn't they feed Yao? Why is the most high-percentage option on offense only taking 12 shots?

He did. But he also committed 2 TO's because he was hesitant and he was slow.

Relax, the game wasn't that bad. Had they make a few more free throws and had Battier not gone out early with foul trouble, it's a totally different game.

They missed their Js early, and the Jazz hit theirs all game. The offensive rebounding was about equal as are the turnovers. I'll take a loss with the opponent hitting 2 pt jumpers.

The Rockets have two stars a a ton of specialists, they need time to learn their roles and get going as a machine.

    I agree w/ you 100%.

T-mac did however shoot alot of shots he should have passed up.

    Aww...man that's so gay. O well, it's just one game I guess.

Detroit got beaten too. Miami Heat totally got annilated too. So it's not that bad I guess. The Mavs started opening night with a similar bad loss to the Jazz last year, too. But this Jazz team actually has some good players. Like Okur, AK47, Deron Williams, and now Carlos Boozer is back.

Sacremento lost too, to the crappy Timberwolves. It's one game. But I do agree, that's soooo F)*975kng frustrating.

If only we had Bonzi Wells...

some of you guys crack me up! after one game, you're talking about trading t-mac away. seriously, what's gotten into you? Yeah, he played a pretty horrible game, but that happens. I do agree however he needs to stop jacking up shots. He did that last year when he had back problems, but if he claims he no longer has back problems, he needs to drive in alot more.

It wasn't just T-Mac. Alot of our players didnt just show up today. I have to admit, Yao and suprisingly Kirk Snyder played real well. Battier played okay for being in foul trouble. And Alston somewhat stepped up at the end.

It's only the first game. I'm still excited bout teh season. Only thing that scares me is players like Boozer!! The guy is huge and having Shane Battier at PF or Yao guarding him will not work. Don't get on my back, but hell.....Juwan may have been have some use banging into him. haha.

and Mutumbo....I'll watch my mouth in what i call you, but gee golly guy, i think i have more of a chance dunking again even with my bad knee. haha.

sorry this was random...just expressing my thoughts. gnite. and happy early birthday to me (nov 2nd)

He was fine. The double team killed him at the end of the game though. They were coming at him hard because there was no fear of anyone hitting an open jay. He still had over 20 points.

He did look out of shape, but I think Ronnie Brewer is just quicker than him.
