That was then, this is now. It's pretty obvious to me their rythms are not on the same wavelength right now.

Who else? Yao? Yao's too slow to guard Okur, plus Okur likes to come out shoot 3. Battier was just careless to pick up early fouls. He has to play smart.

I agree prolly is hesitent cause of his recent ft woes. I am all for TMAC going to the hole everytime. Like somebody said earlier hes not Ray Allen I wish he'd stop settling

Pretty bad half and the Rockets only down by 12. Utah played inspired ball, passed well, hit their FT's, got to loose balls, just outplayed the Rockets. TMac, other than FT shooting, looked like he is ready. Might be another year where he has to log a lot of minutes, unless the much heralded bench decides to help in the second half.

if the rox were actually playing halfway decent defense we would be ok. I hope the refs aren't calling the games this tight all year.

And the Jazz start off the second half by shooting FTs. Goody. Well at least the refs are consistent.

The problem is both of them need to have big minutes for us to be successful

That was my biggest concern during the pre-season(even just pre-season) Yao and TMac had zero chemistry...mainly from TMac's end.

Looks like it got carried over for real!

Rafer is a joke. any player who consistantly gets blown by on defense and misses so many wideopen looks on offense, should'nt even be a rotation player. heck charle ward on one leg was better then him.
