how is he suppose to use him? all the threes he attempted were wide open. he put the ball on the floor once to attempt a 20 footer.

I think the Rockets just needed to get that out of their system. I expect JVG to get them turned around in the second half. At least they began to play a little D last 5 min or so. 12 points is not insurmountable.

Boozer 15 points 10 rbs at the half. Terrible defense.

There is only one reason the team struggled in the first half: Shane Battier got in foul trouble and had to sit. The team D suffers without him.

I don't expect Boozer to keep on getting the same kind of shots nor do I expect Jazz to continue their hot shooting. People need to chill and stop acting like the game is over.

If you're talking 50 apiece, that's good for me.

Tmac is 5-11 with 17 pts not too bad. He could have 24 if he made his free throws. Rockets as a team shooting 61% from the charity stripe clearly not our best night. Jazzholes 21-23 from the line hence a 12 point lead. We just need to keep chipping away at the lead and make out ft's and we will be alright.

Gundy is simply stupid in using Battier to guard Okur, that gets him three early fouls. He is just too small.

Whatever happened to the "Rockets were 21-10 last year when T-mac & Yao played together"?

Yao has to be more judicious with his fouls in the 2nd half. Can't have cheap defensive fouls in the early minutes. Be more aggressive on the offensive end though.

our boys are playing with no confidence(except for yaomac). didn't expect that. hope novak saves his ass(playing time) by making some shots.

I agree. We'll deal with them in the second. They have no answer for Yao.
Plus I'd expect us to turn up the defensive intensity and take this one to another level. The Jazz will cool off.

The officials and Rafer Alston are killing us.

You might hear us gripin, but in between we'll let you know what happens.

Hayes is the answer on Boozer. He needs to play major minutes 2nd half. I think we will be fine with him and Yao at the 4/5 and then rotate Shane/Novak at the 3 and McGrady at the 2.

(I'd like to see what Billy could do.)
