Starting lineup in the second half MUST be:

    Rafer
    TMac
    Battier
    Hayes
    Yao

Like someone already posted, Jazz getting more free throws and hitting their shots right now. I think the Rocket's D locks in and make a game of it.

Rafer sucks today, and V-Span has the POTENTIAL to be good. But you wouldn't put in a turnover machine when your team is down by 20.

I'm not surprised by the lack of fluidity on offense. It's going to take time for us to gel. But I've always thought defense would carry us to start the season. That theory is now junk. Either that or the Jazz will be a force this season.

It's his fault TMac can't make free throws.

If they are down 20 in the 4th quarter I will bet we see V-span.

    On the bright side:

T-MAc and Yao are on pace to put up some serious numbers.

If the Jazz can shoot 53% all year in every game they will be tough to beat.....

    But......

JVG hasnt used Novak right. A lot of questionables moves mainly concerning foul trouble. We need Bonzi bask ASAP cuz we still arent as deep as we thought.

keep the updates coming you guys; I'm in the middle east right now in regards to the US effort and Armed Force Network (AFN) isn't showing the game. For some reason the chat isn't working for me either..so I have to rely on ya'll for up to the second updates (I'm wearing out the refresh button). anyway..we're coming back to win the second half!

most of these guys are in foul trouble

I'm impressed with Hayes, battier, and padgett. that's all, tmac/yao have played decently, but rafer is horrible. Luther isn't doing much either.

I never knew I would say this, but why not(shh!)....Juwan? :(

Rafer Alston - "Once it's preseason, I am in shooting range."

Can't imagine ALston is 6-0 from the field!!!

why is he still on the court? Put VSpan there

umm what are you smoking.. our offence looks horrible.... their scrubs have better plays.. our offence consists of tmac dribbling and passing for a shot.. or rafe dribbling and pass it out for a shot . thats it .!! no pick and rolls. no screens. no plays. no fast breaks.. no flow... even with yao in there everyone stands around and watches yao operate. . no one going in from the boards..
and WTF is up with our FT's!!! especially tmac.. arghhhh
i keep wanting tmac to be better than wade kobe jamese but sadly.. he is just outclasses by the other 3 now..
hate to say it but kobe >>>>> tmac
they use to be close but i think kobe has taken it to another level while tmac has gone a step back. .
i know its only game one. so we will see how the season pans out..
i just hope tmac has a crazy year again along with yao and rockets win 55+

I think Yao and TMac should lead separate units. When both are on the court, they are not producing efficiently. No pick 'n roll, no chemistry, no nothing. Surround Yao with shooters such as Novak and Battier. Play TMac along with more athletic guys like Bonzi and Snyder.
