This team doesnt give a ****. No hustle, effort, determination or passion.

They are just going through the motions. Harden's attempt to play D if you can call that is laughable. I guess they know we don't stand a chance against the current GSW. But that doesn't mean you quit

It won't look like that but there are some quitters out there

Our offense is so unstructured and terrible that I'm fairly certain that Harden isolations ARE in fact our best offense.

All of that said, GIVE THE DAMN KEYS TO LAWSON. HE IS THE OFFENSE WE SEEK!!!

I witnessed more heart and hustle from the 05/06 Juwon Howard led rockets.

the Rockets offense is looking pretty good for most of the half (except last 3 minutes), lots of ball movement, dribble penetration, transition baskets and open threes.

the defense however as per usual has been horrid. As the Jazz commentators astutely points out, its simply lack of effort. Whether it be boxing out, rotating or staying in front of their man. Three plays in the 2nd quarter perfectly illustrates this, A Harden not even moving let alone attempting to rotate or fake rotate to help on a Hayward drive, B Harden again barely moving from under the basket during and after a Jazz player drive, rebound and subsequent kick out to the wing and then another pass to Hayward for the corner 3. C Beverley and Howard and any other rockets not even attempting to locate let alone block out booker on Haywards miss 3 point attempt.

JH is as usual a good to great offensively, scoring, getting to the line, making plays, creating open 3s for his teammates with dribble penetration, but unfortunately his sheer lack of effort on defense is negating a lot of his offensive efforts.

While the rest of the Rockets from Bev are at least TRYING defensively but whether it be scheme or lack of knowledge or IQ or a result of Hardens efforts they are simply failing to be in the right spots or make the right defensive plays.

Some might blame the Rockets being down to, Jazz are lucky and hot and the rockets missing shots but the obvious reason as the Jazz commentators points out is the difference in effort and energy exhibited by the two teams.

That would take away minutes from players that are being showcased for a trade. I don't think the Rockets care much about winning right now...which is sad.

Rockets come out on fire, retake the lead and build it to a double digit lead of their own only to lose it in the final two minutes. BOOK IT!

People constantly bash Harden because he is the leader, he is the cornerstone...You can't constantly bash role players like KJ, right?

That team was ravaged by injuries. They played hard. They just didn't have enough talent. Hell, look at the Rockets 2 years later who won 22 in a row and the last 10 of them without Yao Ming for chrissakes! Now that team had heart.

When you do the same thing OVER and OVER and OVER it gets easy to defend.

It's like anyone that has played a game, once you find out the pattern to a boss it becomes easy. No matter how hard the boss is initially, once the pattern is discovered it's just a matter of time. I think his is why partly we never hold leads.

Teams figure it out and it never changes from there. So a 20 point lead turns to a 2 point deficit that then turns to them just being down 15 or something.

After I saw Les keep JB as the interim coach I knew that it wasn't gonna get better. I remember a quote from Les stating that he hates to see his team lose and that there was one particular game where he stated he knew the team was gonna lose before it began. I wonder how he feels now. This team is sad on so many levels

Haha I am beyond pissed, too pissed to think of a good one.

Utah missing 4 starters, we shot 50%, and we still down by 10. The problem is so clear and they refuse to solve.

Not only that, they keep saying cliche stuff to insult our intelligence.

8 ******* FTs in the half. If we weren't shooting 50% at the half, we would be down 20+ points again.

I think he's out with a ankle injury. But I agree, We should insert TY back in the starting lineup and tell James he is no longer our Point Guard.

In practice, we should be doing hard ass defensive rotation drills Gundy style, until we pass the F out.

I dont mind losses but i mind the basic effort. I stay up to watch nba rocket games but it seems i give more effort and passion than all the team together. No heart no will. Just a paycheck and then off to parties. No care in the world from the players.

It's not the coaching. These coaches coached a team decimated with injuries to 56 wins last year. The players just don't give a damn. That's on the players.
