We are fightting with Utah,Dalas,Portland and laker for one playoff spot, so any game between these teams is very important and critical. Go rockets!
Technically, if you include the Jazz in there, it suggests we are fighting with the above mentioned teams for TWO playoff spots.
Rockets are playing a LOT better now that Harden and Lin are actually playing their positions. Will be a tough one though in SLC.
Do some research before you post. Lin had 19 points, 3 rebounds, 8 assists and only 2 TOs in our last game against the Jazz. In the first game he had 13 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Harden was sick and only had 6 points. That's why we lost the first game but he is in the grove again now. I don't think you are even a fan of the Rockets.
They make 18.1 3-point attempts per game, 10 less than us. They have only 4 players with 3P% higher than .350, we have 7, and that doesn't include Harden (.329). I think if we put in more effort on defense, protect the paint well and really spread the floor for more 3Ps (only 21 3PAs in Each of last two games), we will take this one. The main reason for our last loss in SLC was Harden was sick and he only made 1 of 6 the entire game, scoring only 6 points total. It's gonna be a tough battle, but it is possible to win, even when they are top 3 in home win percentage.
If Lin shoots jumpers off the dribble and Harden shoots jumpers off the pass, then we win by 20; if Lin shoots jumpers off the pass and Harden shoots jumpers off the dribble, then we lose by 20. That has basically been the Rockets' season so far. Don't really expect it to change any time soon...if ever...
You know how the announcers like to say how good a person's FT percentage is just to jinx them? Well I propose that when we say that Rockets are going to win this game and all that, we might be doing the same!! So in order to counteract all that jinx, I'll say that the Rockets will be blown out tonight cos the Jazz are invincible.
Speaking of that, I remember reading that Harden had asthma when he was young, is that true? And if that's the case, I wonder if his flue was exacerbated by that and the high altitude.
