Yea but they actually attack the basket more often. Harden settles for step back 3’s. Need a mix, and not just Harden. Others can step up.
to be fair, the Rockets still played HEAVY ISO except EG and Rivers were going to the rim at will and not settling for 3's
your comment make me feel sure CC is the key trade bait (my, mission impossible, still cant believe how they made it…i thought it was a intensified drill to our bench players)
I would hope so, but probably not. This win can also give the team the confidence they need in their shots and placement.
The problem Harden has when he drives he has way less space to operate in the paint because the other team has their total attention on him. Rivers and Gordon will have way more space to drive to the paint. It's not like Harden doesn't drive, because he still gets his fair share of free throws. It's just a totally different situation for Harden compared to the others.
It's amazing that the backups can beat on the road, a Utah team that has won 19 of 21 games. Also lose to teams like the Warriors this year. I was surprised that the Rockets are so inconsistent. Just hope they are hot in May and June.
Yes, and this is why others need to be more involved. The defense keys on Harden because they know that’s the only guy they really have to key on.
Great game tonight. The Jazz thought they were going to get an easy win and then Gordon showed up to play! Rivers played solid and looks great when he is driving more than he shoots. The Monster put back by House just topped it off. Great team win.
I will say one thing about House, after missing TWO one handed dunks, I'm glad his last dunk was a two handed dunk....beautiful and exciting dunk. House needs to remember, it might be great to see "reel" one-handed dunks, but it is better to have high percentage, game winning, "real" two-handed dunks
There's been plenty of times where Harden's gave them the opportunity to step up, but they never really take it. But I do want the other guys to step up and start making things happen. I don't care if Harden only scores 25 points a night, as long as he's making plays and getting assists for his teammates. It's a great win, and the other players did amazing. But I'm not going into a false sense of security and suddenly saying we have amazing support now. I wouldn't mind if we rested Westbrook, Harden and Capela and see how they do against Portland next.
