If the Refs are not going to call anything, then GET YOUR BIGG BUTT in the lane and USE it to back Chandler under the basket.

And DUNK it through his throat !!!

Even though NO/OK is below .500, i definitely do not see this as a bad loss. You have got to factor in where the game is played. They were 20-14 at home going into this game while we were 19-15 on the road. I don't see how so many can think this would be an easy win.

look everyone have bad games and yao is a terrific shooter inside the paint or just a little outside the paint.shots were not falling for him.chandler played good d but those are the usual shots that he takes and make every game so back off yao.it happen to the best, one bad game doesn't mean anything.i've watch the best of them go cold, there are just nights like this when nothing is going your way.your comments are just **** man

It's not that we expect this to be an easy win, however i want it to be a win. A loss like this displays our weaknesses and it's frustrating to watch especially a team that may not make the playoffs beat us. When we're winning the majority of the game and then just let ourselves beat us at the end.

However, i LOVE Chris Paul. The guy is incredible and he's only in his second year. Selfish point guard, quick, and great bball IQ. Great future ahead of him.

Haha. I didn't realize that Game 1 was played in March. If the Rockets were playing the Hornets in the playoffs, you might have a point.

Relax. The outcome of the playoffs was not decided tonight.

Agreed. Whats scary is, NOK is a good team, without Peja. CP3 is a genuis at getting into the lane, getting the defense out of position, and they seem to always be able to get a wide open shot for West. Peja would add one more shooter on the floor..... one of the leagues best, by the way.

Pargo is a solid backup too. Brainy and quick on his feet. Pass first PG who isnt afraid to shoot. Too many good players in this league to be shoot first, especially at the guard position.

its easier said that done ,it seems to me that you have answer for everything that is going wrong, this player should do that ,the coach should do that ,it seems to me that you are perfect or its what you believe you are

Rockets are a good rebounding team IMO. We had a bad night , and I think Bonzi could have really helped us in that department.

Alot of the rebounds were bouncing off the rim out to the perimeter where Wells usually makes his living getting to the loose balls.

We could have used his scoring too. Yao was off tonight and we needed another scoring option.

We are 2-0 against Milwaukee, last year, and 1-0 against them this year. We own them. It's also a back-to-back game for Milwaukee and Bogut is out.

Alot of "fans" are way to picky and take things for granted. Listen to Bill and Matt once in a while. Before the game, they talked about when Yao went down, Matt said the season is over. We'd be lucky fighting for 7th or 8th. As a fan, seeing how we did last year with injuries, on a scale from 1-10, last yr being a 10, and this year being a 7 or 8, I think we've done damn good. This is one hell of a ball club.

I just don't agree with bashing ANY of the players or coaches. While we have a great group of players out there making millions, so are all the other teams in the league. We are 5th seed in the WEST. YAY! We lost tonights game, theres always tomorrow. The media is bad, but when the fans whine and complain it just adds more fuel to the fire. Sorry for bashing fans for bashing.

Actually, now that I have calmed down abit...

Guys, don't forget that New Orleans were ravaged by injuries this season. If it wasn't for all these injury problems, they targeted to be a SOLID playoff team. I know it does not lessen the pain of this loss, but we cannot simply assume that we are playing against a scrub team.

BTW, credit must also be given to David West for his performance against us. Everyone speaks of Chris Paul and Tyson Chandler, but David West did equally as much damage against us.

If anything, we should take this game as a way for us to work on our weaknesses. And frankly, I think our only weakness is dropping our intensity level. Like I said, we murdered them in the 1st quarter. I don't understand what happened in quarters 2 - 4.

I'm a huge JVG fan, but in games like these, he infuriates me. His tight rotation really kills us sometimes. His short leash on guys like Bonzi and Snyder cpsts us in games like these.

This is my message to you JVG...Find a way to get Bonzi back on the floor for this team. We could really really use his competitveness and his tenacity on offense and defense.

What? I am merely pointing out how to handle that kind of officiating.....and the GREAT players already know it, they don't need me or anyone else telling them what to do, they adjust themselves.

With Yao dropping 25+ points people think he is back. HE IS NOT!

    CLUE # 1:
Why don't you think he backed Chandler under the basket? He hasn't pounded anyone in the lane like he did prior to the injury. Nor has he had the quickness to do his baseline spin. Those should give us some indication.

    CLUE # 2:
Both Yao and his own teammates recognize it. Here's what they all said that was posted on Saturday March 23.
    http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/4657993.html

    Clue # 3:
The simple stats show that he's not. Pre-injury ~25/9. Post injury ~21/9.

He was never given a real shot IMO....A couple of weeks in the rotation is not enough to get the guy used to playing on this team....I've watched Bonzi for a few years now, and I know if he ever got on the floor healthy(he says he's healthy"), he could really give us a shot in the arm in these tough games that come down the the 4th quarter.

Officiating was bad tonight but it isn't why we lost. Can't pin this one on JVG (except I felt he should have doubled Paul but he hit some amazing shots and was on fire. Plus, he's a star and he had one of those nights).

We lost b/c Yao was terrible (Chandler shut him down. He got fouled a decent amount of times but guys like Chandler give him problems). The Hornets own us for some reason. We also rebounded really poorly and gave them way too many chances down the stetch. We really didn't shoot that poorly except Yao. Our defense and rebounding sucked, one of our stars played one of the worst games of his career and the other couldn't make a free throw.

It's one game. We've been playing well lately and hopefully will rebound against Milwaukee. This team always seems to have a letdown game and this was ours. I can let it go.

pre-injury yao, he still takes these kind of shots. people want yao to be a power player but he's not. sure he may be a step slow on those spin moves, but these are his shots. he'll make them most nights so people need to relax. yao is bound for one or two bad game every few weeks or so offensively.

what we should criticize yao is his lack of rebounding and poor defense. offense comes and goes and i don't mind that. his defense was horrible today, esp. the rebounding.

Yeah, you go ahead and believe that. He was given more then one chance. Quit defending Bonzi, it's his fault he's in this situation. Everywhere he goes they get tired of his crap. I don't know why you think the guy is just getting screwed for no reason.

Just to address VSpan he isn't going to play so you might as well save your time.
