Guys please just show some mercy with what you say! What? You expect us to win every one of the games left? You win some and you lose some.

Yao had an off night which was not helped by bad officiating. Plus Chris Paul was huge tonight.

It's not like this was a must-win for the Rox or anything so just chill out!

Yao really needs to be more aggressive like using his ass to back Chandler up a bit, or elbow him in the face while turning. Just a little memo to Chandler, lay off me a bit or your gonna smacked up. Goddam the non-aggressive Yao.

Don't spaz over this game. It only counts one in the loss column. Tracy was ill and still played well. Yao was way off his game. Chris Paul was unconscious. If we lose to the Bucks tomorrow, then we should get fired up.

No, because he is in the JVG dog house. I actually hate the mentallity of going with whatever that works at the moment. That's just wrong. You always look for ways to improve your team even at the expense of short term loses or else you risk losing out as other teams improve themselves.

CP3 is a really good pg. But we lost b/c we were just pathetic tonight. If we were a championship team, this kind of collapse would of never happened.

Yeah, losing to the Bucks would be truly inexcusable, since they're tanking like mad.

But at least we now know what Utah fans feel :/

While thats true and a very good point, the way the Jazz are playing, I don't think winning those 2 games (which is still unlikely with the stars out) would get them home court advantage. Before the game, they showed the Rockets remaining sched vs .500 or above ballclubs. Utah twice, and PHX.

Utah Im not worried about at all, book those 2 games W's, and with PHX star players out, and all of our guys giving 100% to fight for home court, I think the PHX game will be a W for us. so in my mind, only one real threat to us the rest of the season.... our new owners of the NBA.... the Hornets.

Its not that we lost, its how we lost. It was as if we were playing on a back to back tonight against the suns... except its the hornets.

That's a complete cop-out for Yao. Yao is a GREAT player and short of injury/sickness no one should feel the need to make an excuse for his horrid performance tonight.

Sure, he got some tough breaks from the refs, but HE was the biggest culprit as to why he played so poorly tonight.

The next step in Yao's development is learning how to impact other areas of the game when he struggles shooting/scoring the ball. All great players are multidimensional and don't the fact that they played poorly in one aspect of the game affect the rest; Yao needs to learn to focus on rebounding, defense and passing when his shot isn't going. He still has ways to go in that department.
