Very proud of the WBPS and Deke, nice win, but I'm not to optimistic about them beating San Antonio on the road without Mac.

No one EVER said he is the second coming of Hakeem, anyone who does is really an idiot who doesn't know jack about basketball.

As for the rest of your comments, I am wondering if we can trade you to the GS Warriors BBS instead of Yao:rolleyes:

Come on man, take that stuff elsewhere.

I have a distinct feeling that Charvo will show up in this thread.

To Yao's credit, he played great in the playoffs last year.

I'll take a mediocre April from the big guy if he can step it up in the playoffs.

Can't see the game, but can someone tell me what's going on? Yao was 4-5 and 5 boards in the first quarter, then he went to the bench for a rest longer than usual, with TMac banged up. Then he was just 1-6, and picked up 3 quick fouls. what happened? So strange. Rested too long, out of rythm? Or just all stupid fouls, but why 1-6 on the floor? Don't get it.

    Hahaha, wow, you're an idiot.

I have to say, in that fourth quarter, I think the Rockets exemplified the word "team." Good effort by the reserve crew to keep us from a letdown tonight.

How could Sura possibly call T-Mac the Rockets' "best player"? Doesn't he know that this title belongs to Deke now? I cexpected more from Sura!;)

I don't think there's a single player on this board who thinks Yao is the second coming of Hakeem.

All that "greatness" hype was from the media. Personally, I'd be happy with a CONSISTENT 18/10 from Yao the rest of his career. Does that deserve a max contract? No...but he's going to get one anyway and nothing's going to change that.

He wouldn't be the worst player in the NBA with a max contract. There are plenty of guys getting the max who don't deserve it. i.e. Pau Gasol, Keith Van Horn

I know stats and great play are two different things, but Yao averaged 15 and 7 in the playoffs. I wouldn't call that great in most instances, but he did play against shaq.

us rocket fans should not even bother replying to such idiotic statements made by idiotic people...in other words lets let his words go in one ear and out the other until GS wins against us :D

Folks, lets cheer up. We got this one, who knows what side of Yao will come out the next one. He is an enigma, and he will give you surprise. You wanna see dominance, dominance is boring. Yao is the ultimate hero in a Rocky movie. The kind of figure Brits loves.

Possible come back on Sunday, more than likely comeback on Wednesday against Utah.

We just beat the New Orleans Hornets of the NBDL. I suspect we might need Tmac for NBA teams. You know, the Spurs, Suns and such.

We didnt need him tonight. We might not need him next game, but we definitely need him to us to win it all. Same goes for Yao.

You guys should stop making excuses for Yao.

Either he is the real deal or just a teaser, more like the latter.

Trade his ass out of Houston.

    J.
