I don't care if Harden is 0-10 to start, he needs to stay aggressive. Our offense relies on him too much, once he stops being aggressive, it's game over.

Don't be too disappointed on the loss, this was a road trip with 3 games in 4 nights so yeah, expected Harden would be out of gas.

The only thing I can say is Harden and coach should have the presence of mind to run more plays for Dwight and Beasley if Harden is struggling, harden is amazing but there will be nights he will be struggling in these cases he should play a more passive role and focus on creating opportunities for others instead of trying to shoot himself back in a rhythm, same thing for the coach he should've run more plays for Dwight.

Also, Hornets showed tonight the power of the 3. Shootings 3s and layups have nothing to do with moreyball, teams who do so at a high rate win more games just because all their shots are more efficient. Unfortunately, the Rox paid the wrong people money so we have bricklayers like Brewer shooting 3s. Where the **** is goudelock?

This is so spot on.... who wants to play with a team that has absolutely zero effective plays and a coach that has to kowtow to his players? :(

If you actually think we should not hold our star to a higher standard I'm at a loss. Do you think pandering all to James will right this ship? Do you actually watch these games or are you just slobbering in front of a person sized poster on your door?

Seriously... James bashing is awful, but posts like those of you and kingking are just as bad. There's a reason long time followers are pointing out how much attitude and effort issues there with James. There's absolutely no reason to defend him against this very correct criticism.

Our 3 pt shooting is terrible with the gray sleeves.

How many of you get screwed for the people who wished a turnover from J.L to hand over a win to the Rockets?

    HAHA...

I am a Rox fan, but you guys treated J.L so mean...

Harden doesn't give a f whether he wins or loses, he will go clubbing regardless and that's what I reckon 70% of players do. Mad Max was a heavy club hopper back in the day so that is not really a problem. However, if I were his teammate, I would be pissed. You have to work extra hard to cover for him on defense, because he doesn't want to and then has all the energy in the world to go partying till late in the morning.

Some posters here just don't understand this. Very few people would care if Harden went clubbing every other night if he wasn't literally ONE OF THE LAZIEST DEFENDERS IN THE ENTIRE LEAGUE.

If he put forth competent effort on defense night in and night, I personally would berate anyone who started criticizing his tri-weekly visits to the clubs/bars.

However at this time, Harden DOES NOT deserve the benefit of the doubt in regards to his nightly escapades not being a detriment to his conditioning/stamina.

you are who you surround yourself with. What do you think goes on at these 5-6 am parties?

I got a red flag last year for saying something about Harden before Game 3 (Warriors) & I'll still stand by it today but I guess I won't' give details like I did anymore. (I understand that now)

Harden parties pretty much after most wins or losses. Most NBA Players do.

    Lebron & Curry don't.

you can see it in James's eyes, look how exhausted he is here from the game. you gotta feel for him, carrying the offensive load and everything.

Yes so, what you want to say, we should all criticize him for it? As a fan I couldn't care less about his personal life. Frankly, because I don't really care about Harden at all. I don't think we will ever win with him and him going to parties isn't going to affect my opinion about him. I suggest you do the same. Once he starts bringing it on defense I will care for him as a franchise player.

Should I judge his personal life based on his on court performance and vice versa? I don't think so. I would still not approve of his off court life if he would be a champion. Same with Mad Max. It does not really matter to me since it's about what he does on the court. Sure I would love him to be different, but it's wasted energy to expect anything better at this point. Therefore, I do not care one way or the other.

    In a vacuum, I don't fault James' off-court activity.

However, allowing it to affect on-court is unacceptable (i.e.- blaming fatigue for lazy play).

Maybe he just needs to mature.
Or, maybe he only wants to win.... not WANTS to win.

Don't worry. He recovers his energy on the defensive end.
