Actually, I think the spurs are copying the rockets' strategy. Exactly the same way!

You can't continue playing a inconsistent pt guard 40+ minutes a game. I think it was a good move.

Mike James wasn't contributing and there were no signs of him being a major playoff contributor. Bonzi was good, and could be missed. But if our young players and bench players continue to step up, and we managed to get Brent Barry, I actually think the Rockets become a much better team.

Milwaukee may be finishing off the Nuggets. 108-104 Bucks with 39 seconds left.

Agree with ya on Bonzi, but also agree that in the play-offs, a backup PG is > than a backup wing. Depending on how Jackson does, he will at least form a 5 man rotation with Rafer, Head, T-mac, Battier at the 1/2/3 spots. If Brooks can return to form, that can become a 6 man rotation giving Adelman more leeway depending on who is hot or matchups.

Cant agree with James though. Even in the first part of the season when he was shooting well, his game was 1 on 5. He didnt seem to fit in well with the offense. I also think as far as ball handling Jackson>James.

For you guys that responded to my post above, I see where you are coming from, but I still believe that there has to be another story with James. He is simply not that bad, and he proved it with the Rockets and the Raptors. Yes, he never could seem to get comfortable this time around, but why? I think there was a subplot working while he was here. Do you remember the interview of TMac on Channel 2 when he said,"Rafer is the best PG BY FAR." Could James have been "frozen" out by his own team members? We have no proof. His demise could have all been his fault, his poor performance. Or maybe not. I still think his playoff experience could have come in handy, but, I guess, his contract had to go.
