Stop those 'real test' posts! Real test of what? If the Rockets win it, then what? You begin to believe they are contenders? Who cares about your opinion on this? Just love the team, enjoy the games and be a fan, OK?

Is Hayes gonna play this game? Who's going to contain David West?!

Update: Morey was just interviewed on 1560AM and it looks like BJ won't play until Sunday. NO should be favored for all of the reasons Clutch just listed. If anyone down there had a chance to see the NO-Mavs game, you'll understand why this should be so.

Well, that blows. What about MJ & Bonzi for them?

Obviously no streak lasts forever. But if this does end I rather it to ends while playing against a weak team, not a strong division foe like the N.O. It'd do too much damage to your confidence, it'll make you discount somewhat your past success and wonder if you're good enough against the big boys. Life goes on no matter what, but a loss here would hurt their momentum quite a bit. So no, there is no stopping here. Rox have to take this one. Go Rockets!

Hell ya. I'd rather lose in a brickfest against a sub-par team than play "what if's" against good teams (because that is what we're living by until the Rockets win in the playoffs).

This is going to be a tough game. BonBon's gonna crap all over us for what our idiotic management did. Hopefully we have the mental toughness to pull this one out.

I think we lose this one. Chris Paul is going to make Alston his personal b*tch.

My bad...Anywho, this should be a great game...my only regret will be how Bonzi will show up and have a monster game...

We hung with this team last time without Tmac, so I'm not quite as pessimistic as the rest of ya'll. Balanced scoring and hardnosed defense have been our calling card during the streak so hopefully that's what we continue to do.

By the way, did anyone catch Barkley's comment last night that we're really not a good defensive team, our stats just reflect that because we walk the ball up the court every time. That was infuriating.

Also forgot to note: I had pretty much stopped looking at division standings but has anyone notice we're only a game behind Dallas now, and 2.5 behind San Antonio. If we win tonite we'll only be 3 games outta first place. Pretty impressive considering our division, anyway I don't wanna count any chickens and all that but win or lose we gotta keep pressure on these guys, and jugding from Kidd's debut it may take them a few weeks to get him acclimated.

Especially on a night where we drop 112 on the opponent, including 41 in the first quarter.

Its no big secret that Barkley isnt the biggest fan of us. Why do people still insist on getting all bent out of shape about it? He was a great player, but he just says stuff as an "analyst" to get a rise out of people. When he starts complimenting us, then I will raise an eyebrow at his statements.

Our forwards will have no problem containing West this time around. Its all going to be up to our guards this game.

Biggest game of the year so far, I'd say. We almost (and should have) beat them last game when we were shorthanded (without either Yao or Mac, forget which one) If the Rockets win this game, not only does it go a long way in battling for good playoff position, but it will start to earn them some national credit from everywhere about how hot the Rockets are. I just have a good feeling about this team:

So is Bobby Jackson going to play?

    What about G-Green?

I love Green, but the only way he's going to play this year is if the game is a blowout.
