That's a turnover by DoD, but then he quickly grabbed the defense rebound.

Man the midwest teams are ridiculous. Not a single team is below .500 and every team is within 3 games of one another (will be since Nuggs are beating GSW right now.) Aren't all teams in the Eastern Atlantic conference below .500 with Philly at 9-10? It's ridiculous how stacked the West is, and it's even more ridiculous considering how lopsided it'll be next season with the new division formats.

Good game, but we still have the same glaring mistakes as previous games

Steve .. Too many turnovers .. His shot will come .. no worries with that

Yao .. Still not going after the boards strongly .. Each offensive rebound for the opponent is just as bad as a turnover. Yao needs to take the initiative to clean this up. I think Cato is doing his part here.

Cato .. They should have a little buzzer on him that shocks him if he shoots beyond 5 feet :)

But the good news is that even though we had all this go wrong the Rox still won handily!! I think these are things the Rox are going to improve on and by the end of the year they will be a polished team.

No, otherwise, it will be infinite for Davis. I mean 11/0!

btw, stop bashing our players, please, what the hell is wrong, you people. If you don't know how to enjoy the game, just quit watching.

He was called for illegal 3 second defense violation.

These are post game quotes from NO coach and players:

    Head Coach Tim Floyd
...They took away our transition game. Once you get back, you're forced to run your actions and step outside of your actions because of their presence in the paint. We really didn't have anything at all in the lane tonight and that was apparent early that that was going to be very difficult. We became a halfcourt team, relying on the perimeter. That's the reason why they are leading the league in field goal percentage. They are an outstanding defensive club...

    Guard David Wesley
...Against Houston, you have to get them in transition and we did not do that at all tonight. ..

    Guard Baron Davis
Each time we came off of a pick and roll, they double-teamed and rotated. Against a team like this you can't run pick and rolls. You've got to find other ways to score. I saw double-teams the whole game. Each time I came off a pick and roll, I saw two defenders. Each time I tried to get to the hole, there was Yao Ming and Kevin Kato. I can't go over someone 7-6.

    Forward P.J. Brown
...I think we have to look to push the ball, not only on misses, but on makes as well. ItÕs too tough to score in the paint with Yao down there; Van Gundy has them playing that New York style defense. They are playing great defense.

The question is : can we play the game in rox rhythm against team like SAC kings?

Nice to hear the Hornets praising our defense. I'm surprised but very happy that we won. I hope that we can carry some momentum against the Pistons.

Here's a great quote from Baron Davis...

This one might even need to be in the Clutchfans quotes section...

"Each time we came off of a pick and roll, they double-teamed and rotated. Against a team like this, you can't run pick and rolls. You've got to find other ways to score. I saw double-teams the whole game. Each time I came off a pick-and-roll I saw two defenders. Each time I tried to get to the hole, there was Yao Ming and Kelvin Cato. I can't go over someone 7-6."
-- Baron Davis, on Houston's defense

awesome! If only we could put the ball in hole.

As long as I'm happily posting, I also gotta point this out:

YAAAY! We actually expected the full-court-press, watched tape of it from a previous game, and used it to our advantage! WOO HOOO !!!! Now that's some good coaching!
    Thank you, JVG!!!

Your confused? I'm confused about your post.

Would you rather have Francis score 28, but we lose? Steve played one hell of a defensive game (chasing Baron all over the place...).

Plus, I like it when Francis can be used as a decoy sometimes.

Calvin and Bill were making a big deal about Stevie's D on Baron, but I saw Cat cover Baron more than Stevie did. Did I miss something?
