VG wants New Orlean to have a chance. Did you notice we led by as much as 9 points with Yao in the first quarter. Then when we started the second quarter, the lead disappeared really fast without Yao there. :(

    story of the first half:

    1) after scoring easily from the post 3 consecutive times, Yao was completely left out of the offense. He had a nice spin move, but pumpfaked when he should have dunked, and he traveled.

    2) Yao is doing horrible on the boards. Sometimes it looks like he's worried about holding off his man with one arm while grabbing the ball with the other. If he would just go up strong with both hands, he could secure more boards.

    3) our offense is utter crap. after several consecutive horrible possessions, Pike took a 3 from about 4 feet beyond the arc. And you know what? it was the best shot we had gotten for a while, and i was glad he took it. Sad. Also, Cato is going overboard with the jumpers. on one play, he did a divac-like screen and fake pass turnaround jumper. from about 20 feet out.

    4) Francis continues with stupid turnovers. on one play, he dribbled, faked a behind the back pass to Yao, then continued dribbling. Palming, obviously. Why does he trie to get away with this crap? JJ has also commited a ton of turnovers, completely killing what little offensive flow we had.

Yao's timing for rebounding is terrible. He either jumps to early, or jumps too late, or he'll expect the ball to go one place and it'll go sopmewhere else. He is getting destroyed on the boards by Magloire. Second chance points really hurt.

That's why I doult Yao was injured. I don't think he needs such a rest after 8-min play.

What a nice looking team in Grizzlies now. I really wish we still have JP instead of JJ, who plays hard but his shooting has been poor at best (35%). :(

BD(12-6) is 4-11, but already has 6 assists in the first half. Stevie(4-2) can't even get 6 assists in a game.

    Damn. Magloire(11-6) simply outplayed Yao(6-3).

We definitely can't win if our so-called best players played like this.

francis used to be a ball hog that scored a lot and turned the ball over a lot. Now he is all that without the points

I think the Rockets have been very consistent this season, you know that they will have at least one period where they will suck a$$.

Yao still plays small and timid. This is not right for 7'6'' 310 center. NO more PUMP FAKE WHEN YOU ARE just 2 ****ing feet from the basket with no one infront of you. Go up strong and rip that ****ing thing down and swing out your massive legs.

Yes. I can notice at times even Cat is more willing to pass the ball inside, but Stevie is just indulged in over-dribbling.

Rgardless what you criticise, Yao and Taylor are by far our best players tonight. :D

Does any team take this many three's for real? Damn. Watching Charlotte is like watching an Antoine Walker shooting drill. :)

Yes, that is the key to win this game. Look at how quickly we restored our lead in th third quarter by going inside just like the first quarter. :D

When Yao is on the court, look at the score 48:45........
JVG should play the big man.
